Yn smiles at Sophia and Eva, walking out of the conference room. They wave goodbye and wish her the best of luck. Y/n turns on her heels and begins skipping away, skidding down the sidewalks of Atlanta.
She pulls her phone out of her pocket and quickly texts Anna.

Y/n closes her phone, laughing in disbelief to herself as she lightly jogs back to her apartment. She climbs up the stairs and unlocks the door. She yelps and drops her keys when she sees Anna standing in front of the door with vodka and orange liquer.
"Jesus, Anna! You almost gave me a heart attack," Y/n scoffs, picking up her keys and hanging them on the hook beside her.
"Come on," Anna beckons. "Into the kitchen we go. I have emotional support alcohol and you've got the gossip. They go hand-in-hand!" i really hope anna doesnt sound like an alcoholic and alcohol is her only character trait
Y/n hops on the counter as Anna begins mixing liquids together. "I got there and there they were! I asked them if I was at the wrong audition, and they said no and started pep-talking me. They told me I was sent to callbacks for a reason. Then we all got sent in one at a time to go over more scenes. It was just like the regular audition, but I could tell the stakes were higher. We even did a few scenes together. They invited me out to lunch, but I just couldn't do it. I almost fainted when I saw them."
Anna's jaw drops and she hands the drink to Y/n, who sips it gratefully. "That is insane. But iI really don't think you should count yourself out. They are right; you got sent to callbacks for a reason."
"I just- I just don't know how I could even come close to stacking up with those women," Y/n sighs, rubbing her face.
Anna places her hand on Y/n's knee. "You've got this babe. You've just gotta ride this out until you get a response, and you will get a response. A good one, too."
Y/n smiles at Anna and slides off the counter. She hugs her best friend tightly. "Thank you," she whispers.

Y/n and Anna sit on Y/n's bed, staring at the laptop in front of them. It's been 4 days since the callback. The email should be coming out. Y/n's eyes flick over the open Gmail tab, looking for any changes in it.
Suddenly, a new email in bold floats to the top of her inbox. Anna and her yelp, and Y/n buries her face in her pillow. "I can't do this, I can't," Y/n mumbles.
Anna grabs her and heaves her up. Y/n falls over onto her lap, limp. "Yes you can," Anna groans..
"nOo-" Y/n mumbles.
"Y/N! OPEN THE FRICKING EMAIL."
Y/n peers up at Anna. "cAn YoU dO iT uWu?"
Anna deadpans Y/n. "Did you just pronounce 'uwu'?"
"JUST OPEN IT!"
"Fine, fine!" Anna's left hand strokes Y/n's hair while the other massages the mousepad. Taking a deep breath, she opens the email. Her eyes scan over it and her breath hitches in her throat. "Y/n. Y/n. Y/n, sit up."
"What? What?" Y/n says, scrambling into a seated position. She grabs the laptop and scans over the email.
