A/n: Hello everybody! Today is March 30, 2021. Now that the conflict is resolved, we only have a few chapters left. Don't worry, you'll know when it ends because the last chapter is always called "Epilogue". Don't go anywhere though! We've still got ground to cover.

A sharp buzzing rings through the hotel room. Y/n grabs her phone quickly, not wanting to wake up the sleeping Tom beside her. She looks at the message.

Y/n slips out of bed and wraps a hotel-provided bathrobe around her body. She tucks the sheets back under Tom, who is snoring softly on his stomach. She slips on her flip-flops and sneaks out into the hallway, quietly closing the door.
Seb is leaning against the door of his and Anna's hotel room. He's wearing gray sweatpants, a navy t-shirt, and an unzipped black sweatshirt. "What's this about, Sebastian? I was sleeping!" Y/n whisper-yells.
He says nothing, simply looks at her with many emotions swirling in his eye. He grabs her wrist and drags her into the elevator. "Seb-! Are you kidnapping me?" He says nothing, but stares ahead. He's shaking his leg in anxiety. Little does Y/n know, behind his back, he's rapidly texting Tom to tell him the plan is a go.
The door open to reveal the rooftop deck, overlooking the bright city of Los Angeles. Seb walks out and sits on a chaise lounge, leaning forward. Y/n apprehensively walks over and sits on the lounge adjacent to him. He takes out a lighter and a pack of cigarettes. Sticking one between his lips, he hands another to Y/n.
She eyes him suspiciously, but leans forward, allowing the flame to lick the tip. Smoke swirls through her lungs, and she exhales it, watching the cold air mingle with the hot nicotine. Seb lights his and leans back, closing his eyes.
"I thought you only smoked for auditions," Y/n says, taking another drag.
"This is more serious than an audition," Seb finally speaks, opening an eye. He reaches back into his sweater and pulls out a small, deep red velvet box. Y/n chokes on the air, pulling the cigarette out from between her lips, slamming her chest with her fist as she coughs.
"Oh my God. You're gonna propose to Anna!" She exclaims.
He nods, opening the case to reveal a beautifully welded silver ring, with a bright ruby in the center and two black diamonds framing it. Y/n gasps and takes the box, tracing over it with her fingers. "She's going to love it."
