"I just want you to be loyal to L'Manburg, you know? Not just to me," Wilbur in his L'Manberg uniform said as he looked at the tower Eret was building. He was clearly jealous of Eret. After the L'Manburg war, there are still beef between them, but Eret was friendly. Genuinely friendly. Eret built watch towers on the entrance and the exit of our land, probably to help us on future wars. They even help me to build my bakery, and that's what Wilbur is jealous about.
"Yeah, that's what I said! I'm loyal to L'Manburg and to you, Will. That's why I joined your faction, right?" I replied to him, smiling. Wilbur muttered a few words before sighing in defeat. "That's good, that's good. Please don't give in to the enemies, Niki."
"I won't, don't worry."
But I'm sorry, Will. You were one of the problems that we need to get rid of. You've become too greedy for power. And I need to stop it before you blow up my nation.
"Here's a totem, Niki." Punz said as we received counter-attacks from Tommy's side. I thanked him for that and reloaded my crossbow with fireworks, then shooting it to them. I've seen some of them take damage with my shot, so Dream praised me for that because I helped them a little bit on seizing Pogtopia.
Even Techno couldn't keep up with my skills. Of course, he trained me for a few years. He helped me on my stances, on my attacks, and on my shooting abilities. But Dream helped me improve it more by training while the others are asleep.
As soon as everybody in Pogtopia was asleep, I get up from my bed, stretching before going out of our base. I brought my torch out to light my path as I go to the coordinates where Dream told me to go to.
It wasn't that far, really. It was miles away, but I managed to go there with safety. I saw Dream sitting in front of a campfire, clearly waiting for me. As he saw me, he lifted his mask and smiled at me. "Niki Nihachu," he said. I rolled my eyes and giggled. "Dream... whatever your last name is." I jokingly replied before our training started.
It took until dawn for us to finish. Dream taught me some tactics I could use for the war, and I was taking all of it down in my mind so I wouldn't forget all of those. He even taught me how to crit and run- because he said people will be coming for me when they know I'm the traitor.
"Thanks, Dream. Really." I said as I packed my gear, looking at the sky that was slowly painted with the color orange. Dream nodded at me. "No prob, I'm happy that you sided with us, Niki. It actually made us more powerful, you were already good at fighting." he replied. "What a good first lady," he said, laughing at me.
"Are you seriously going to make me George's first lady? We got a little beef you know- he pushed me during Championships." she asked, remembering where George pushed her off just for him to win.
"Yup, and I'm not changing my mind. And you'll have another guard except for Punz, she's already on her way." he answered.
"But Dream, being George's first lady is really awkward. I'd rather be L'Manburg's leader than to be with that guy." she refused, pouting. She can already imagine the silence between them. That guy is an introvert, it's hard to communicate with him.
"Okay, maybe you don't have to be George's first lady," he wheezes as he thought about it too. "Why did you make George the king, anyway? You could be the king." I asked.
"Being the king means everybody's eyes will be on me, Niki. I have to work in the shadows. Remember, I have to be one step ahead to all of them." he responded. I nodded, totally getting his point.
Niki looked at the sky, the sun already showed up. She stood up and grabbed her things. "It's time for me to go, they might wake up soon." she said, smiling. Dream nodded. "Thanks." they said to each other before parting ways.
When I saw them going down from the tower, I smirked as I told them to get ready. They started scattering. Me and Purpled went for Tommy and Wilbur, while Dream, Punz and Sapnap went for Techno and the others.
"I know you're good at battles, Purpled. Don't fail me now," I said to him and he nodded. "I don't fail, Niki." he answered.
"It's great to see you again, Purpled." Tommy said as we crossed paths. "Last time we've seen each other was in the Disc War, right? How funny that I have to fight you again. When will you stop, TommyInnit?" he asked. I looked at Wilbur, who still looks devastated. When our eyes met, I raised my eyebrow, rolling my eyes. He looked away quickly after that.
"I'm tired of talking already. Why don't we get the battle started?" I suggested, beaming. I ran towards Tommy and lanced my sword to him, but he managed to block it with my shield.
"Niki, please," he said with his shaky voice. Purpled immediately assisted me by flicking his sword on Tommy, actually taking damage. Before he could eat a golden apple, I was about to lunge my sword when Wilbur stopped me by hitting me first.
"What the fuck?!"
I glared at the two of them, especially Tommy who ate two golden apples after the damage me and Purpled made.
I guess I have to take care of that insane man first.
I gave Purpled signal to go for Tommy before we ran towards them. I slashed my sword on him, but he countered it with his shield. I was so irritated that I pulled my axe, lancing it on the shield to break it.
I glanced on his eyes- he was looking at me. For a moment, I saw him looking at me, scared for his dear life.
But I don't care.
He managed to stand up and attacked me multiple times with his sword. I blocked all of his attacks. When he made me go backwards, I knew what he was going to do.
He was going to run away, but I pulled out the rod and pulled him towards me. He came to me sitting on the ground, can't escape because of the hook attached to his trenchcoat.
I forcefully made him lie down against the dirt, my foot on his chest and the tip of my sword on his throat. He tried getting up, but thankfully my boots was heavy enough for him to carry in his weak state.
"It's over, Wilbur Soot."
