“What… the fuck,” Tommy muttered as they walked inside their base. Quackity, a loud person like Tommy seemed speechless. Wilbur had no reaction like it was a thing he expected. The base was full of buttons. There were buttons everywhere, all of them varied in colors— crimson, warped, oak, birch, you call it. It was a fucking button galore.
“Do not touch any of these buttons. Don't.” Tommy ordered, but Wilbur didn't listen. He seemed like a kid amazed by these buttons, he was clicking every single button he could reach. Tommy scolded him for doing that, but he's too hard-headed.
“It must be Fundy who did this,” Alex said after checking the indoor farm.
“Ohmygod, what happened here?!” Tubbo said when Niki and him arrived in the base. They had gone through a little exploring, that's why both of them didn't also have any idea that their base was grieved.
Suddenly, Fundy walked in. Everyone was alarmed and pointed their bows at him.
“Gentlemen, listen. Gentlemen! May I take a word for one minute?” Fundy said, with a grin on his face. Tommy signaled him to continue. “Gentlemen! I would say, so far, this is a really fine evening, right? I would say this is a really really great evening, and what a fine evening for some good old… double-crossing, huh.”
Everyone was surprised, believing they misheard the word double-cross.
Fundy took off his armor to surrender— to show that his intentions are pure. “Now, let me just say— I haven't been completely vocal about my actions; I haven't spoken about anyone this, actually. But I must say, there is no better time to speak than now,” he said. It was still vague to them. Fundy looked at his father. “Wilbur, I might have something for you that may lighten up the mood a little bit.”
But Tommy didn't forget about what Fundy did when Schlatt exiled them. He took down the walls in front of them, without any hesitation. “No, no, no. We're okay, furboy. Yeah, traitor.” The kid declined, emphasizing the last word.
Fundy was asked about what is he going to give to Wilbur. “I, have been documenting every single step— every single action that Schlatt has taken ever since he set his foul feet onto that goddamned podium,” he said, releasing something from his pocket. A book.
A book full of secrets of the evil dictator. They read it out– every single one of it, just in case they might use it against him later. Suddenly, they heard something fall from above, alarming them again.
Bad stepped out from hiding. “Are we here to overthrow JSchlatt?” He asked genuinely, grinning. “Me, and the Badlands, are with you, Tommy. We wanted Schlatt out of his reign too— we want it to go back to normal.” He said.
Their side is becoming more powerful. Now that Badlands have joined them, the power they have on overthrowing the government multiplied twice, which is really good. Also with Dream and Techno? Really good.
“Actually, Schlatt gave me something,”
“What the fuck is Dream on? What does he mean by something?” Alex complained.
Dream grinned. “He gave me something that means I'll have to defend… Manburg.”
Everything, their plan, and all fell apart when they heard that. Gasps were heard, whispers too as they guessed what did Schlatt gave him.
“Let's talk. Now, Dream.” Tommy then declared.
When they reached Manburg, they were greeted by Sam. They were ready to fight him, but they were surprised when Sam just walked to the side, letting them go ahead. Niki gave him a small smile as they came across.
When they saw Dream, they saw the man who caused this chaos. The man with the fucking clout goggles. The one who slept through the elections, George.
Before Tommy could even speak a single word, Quackity yelled and everyone went silent.
“George! This is your fault! Everything that has happened up to this point is literally because you slept through the elections; if you have gone through the elections we could've gotten votes, we could've fairly, and Schlatt wouldn't have done everything that's fucking happening up to this point. And now you have the audacity to wake up and show up?!”
Quackity was breathless after that. They waited for George’s response, but he only looked back at them and said hi. Everyone sighed in disappointment, not really surprised. Of course, he's really living up to his alias, GeorgeNotFound. He's always missing.
“I thought you were on our side, Dream?” Tommy asked, frowning like a child that had a candy taken away from him. Dream chuckled darkly. “I wasn't on your side in the first place, Tommy. Also, you may have traitor among all of you.”
Tommy’s grip on his crossbow tightened. Anxiety started to creep in, but he was able to collect himself. He breathed heavily before answering. “Who is it? Who?”
“I'll say that your traitor in your ranks will be more surprising than Eret and it might ruin your whole plan, so be wary.” He noted before leaving.
“It's definitely not me,” Tommy blurted out. Everyone started to say the same thing too. They genuinely had no clue, but it could be anyone.
Little did they know, someone, holding into their iron sword whispered in a very small voice that it was inaudible. “It's me.”
