The two teams took a long rest after that horrendous festival. Niki stayed in Pogtopia, now afraid that they’ll hunt for her again. She couldn't sleep, busy of taking care of Tubbo— every night, she just wake up to Tubbo grunting because of his wound. She sometimes wished she was the one who got executed, so the poor kid won't suffer anymore.

Niki looked at the calendar sticked on the wall. November 3. Her birthday. She sighed and leaned on the wall, hugging her legs, staring at the two kids that seemed like her own children now. Realizing she really can't fall asleep, she picked up her coat and walked towards the Dream SMP nation.

She wasn't banned in the aforementioned nation. She's acquaintances with Dream, the founder. She was also friends with a few citizens of it— specifically Karl Jacobs and HBomb. Thank goodness that she isn't really aggressive like the others who like to trigger a war between nations or else she would've been locked inside the ravine.

She went in the haunted mansion that she built together with Karl. She sat on the stairs, leaning on the walls. The girl stood up when she saw a silhouette coming towards the house. A man in a purple and green color block hoodie showed up, and she knew who that is.

“Niki! You're here!” Karl said as he ran towards her. “Happy birthday, by the way,” the lad said, giving her a warm smile. Niki smiled faintly and nodded. “Thanks, I'm glad that someone remembered my birthday,” She replied.

“Wait, Wilbur? He forgot your birthday? That's odd,” he mumbled, but it was inaudible. “Anyway, let's throw a birthday party!” he diverted and started calling people on his phone.

Bad and Skeppy was the ones who arrived first. They arrived together, actually. Bad and Niki weren't really close friends, but he still stayed even if he didn't want to. She told them they could leave if they're busy, but they stayed and invited a few more people.

It was already two am in the morning, that's why only few people answered their calls. Sam, Quackity and Punz came on the right timing— right after the cake finished baking. She suddenly remembered when Bad called Sam.

“Niki's crying,” Bad said. “She wanted you to come on her birthday party,” he added, laughing after he and Karl set her up.

“No! I'm not! Sam, you don't have to,” she tried protesting, but her shout weren't loud enough for the other line to hear.

“She's crying?” The man awfully fell on it. “Tell her I'm on my way, I'm going upstairs right now,” he said, sounding like he was rushing out of his base to go to the mansion.

It warmed her heart. There are still people who are willing to do anything for her. Unlike Wilbur… she tried so hard to convince him not to blow it up, but he was really hard-headed and was tough to reprimand to.

They clapped their hands after they sung her the birthday song. The smile on her face was really huge— the first huge smile she had after the elections. Quackity had a lot of shenanigans, he playfully played as a stripper and tried triggering Bad.

Fundy came in and left after a few minutes. It hurt her— she was his running mate on the elections, but now he's her enemy. She couldn't forget what she overheard on Fundy: ‘Kill Nihachu on sight.’

“Niki,”

In the midst of laughing hard on Quackity's actions, she turned her head and was surprised. It was Wilbur. “You're here,” she said that made everybody paused. He faked a smile and nodded. “Happy birthday,” he said, hugging her.

The hug felt so warm. Well, Wilbur's hugs always felt warm. It was comforting that it could made her forget all the chaos happening in their nation.

Speaking of their nation, Quackity decided to betray Schlatt. In short, he joined Pogtopia. Therefore, Schlatt has no allies anymore. It was all vs the Manburg president. Bad have his own faction named Badlands, which members are Skeppy, Sam and Antfrost— they were just in the festival to not be rude on Schlatt's invitation.

They continued to the party; Wilbur sang his own version of happy birthday— which was pretty depressing. Thankfully Alex was there to lift up the mood.

While everyone was busy singing songs and teasing each other, Karl borrowed her from the party for a while. She was surprised that he gave her a gift. “For you,” Karl said, smiling shyly. She giggled and opened the gift. When she opened it, her eyes widened.

“Nineteen diamonds and golden apples?” She said, putting the diamonds and gapples out. “Thank you so much, Karl!” She exclaimed, amazed. She was very low on diamonds and gapples, but Karl just went her stocks of it back up.

After an hour, they bid their goodbyes. It was already five AM, all of them except for Quackity and Wilbur had to go to sleep. Before that, Niki gave a speech, thanking them for attending her party and also telling them how this small event made her feel overwhelmed.

Too overwhelmed.

“Wilbur!” Karl tried calling the mad man, but he didn't listen. He looked at Niki, worry written on her face. Karl grabbed something from his pocket— ender pearls. The pearls that could teleport you to where you throw it. He gave a few of it to her and started throwing it towards the place, Manburg.

Niki landed on her feet when she teleported, stumbling a little bit. She tried finding Wilbur, specifically the room where the button is. The button that could blow everything up.

“Wilbur!” She heard Quackity call him. “Wilbur, I have a plan to convince Schlatt on transferring the presidency to me. Please. I will hold a meeting on Friday and try everything to make him transfer the position. Wilbur, you don't have to blow this up,” the man in beanie begged, his tone making him sound like he's on his knees.

Wilbur sighed in defeat. “Fine, Alex. Better have that meeting on or before Friday or I'm blowing this place up to smithereens.” He said, walking back into Pogtopia. Karl and Niki was there, listening to their conversation.

“I hope you do well, Quackity.” Karl said, crashing on the grass. Niki did the same too due to exhaustion of teleporting repeatedly. She ran her hand through her hair, overthinking. Karl noticed her actions and patted her back to comfort her.

“Please do well, Alex. The nation L'Manburg depends on you,” She whispered to Quackity before losing consciousness.
