Chapter 11

Lillian's view

Macy moved out quietly and altogether quickly. Everyone apart from Mum was in shock.

"Why did Mum Macy leave?" Elijah asked.

"Because she needed to find herself and not be Marinette" Mum said.

None of us got that. We wanted to call her several times, but did not know what to call about, so we did not. Every Monday, like clockwork, the akuma's went out. We got better as a team, but my depression got worse. Lucian and Louis stopped being as vigilant about stopping the bullying and it started up again so my depression kicked back in full force.

I had cuts and bruises all over me again. I was numb to the world. The boys were banned from sleeping with me again after they were found naked. I didn't get why they slept that way to start with. As it was Macy who allowed them to comfort me I had no-one who would allow it. No one else picked up that I was feeling depressed and numb. Luka probably would have, but I didn't see him much after Macy moved out. Luka had very little say anyway.

I went into the battle with Bladesmith this way. Hēi Māo was there but Viper was missing.

"There you are Ladybird and Hēi Māo!" He screamed "Give me your miraculous and I will leave you be, if not I will slice and dice you into a million pieces."

"And you are?" I question.

"I am Bladesmith, the greatest swordmaker alive!" 

"Not happening, Bladesmith!" I say, lazily swinging my yo-yo, trying to figure out where his akuma might be hiding. Bladesmith looked like a male version of Erza, from fairy tail, in her Titania form.

I decided that the akuma had to be in the hammer he was carrying. It looked like one a blacksmith would use.

"Hēi Māo" I say dodging a blade that had flown at me "I think it's in the hammer, but could you first get the civilians out of here."

He nodded and that's when the first blade I had dodged came back and managed to give me a decent nick in my side. I would need sutures for this. I sighed. This is one wound that would be hard to explain. Not everything was cured by the miraculous... usually they were  my wounds that the suit had failed to protect me from.

I kept swinging my miraculous as I inched my way closer. I managed to destroy 10 of the 12 floating swords, but the remaining 2 were a problem as he had the most control over them.

I threw my lucky charm up and it took me awhile to figure out what the problem was.

I called for my kitty and explained the plan. He nodded and went in parrying and riposting with his baton. Unfortunately for me,  he and I miscalculated one of the blades. It ripped through me, by sheer bad luck it hit me in the same place I was wounded earlier causing me to nearly  pass out from both pain and bloodless. I couldn't move that arm at all.

Hēi Māo noticed this but continued his task of cataclysming the hammer. Luckily it was where the akuma was, so I caught the butterfly, and de-evilised it.

I threw my Miraculous Ladybird in the air and scrambled out of there towards a hospital. I figured that they could find me outside and fix me. I didn't count on running into Viperion.

"Where were you?" I snapped my vision going spotty.

"Sorry, I had to retrieve the miraculous from Louis as he got detention for knocking a kid out again." He murmured ashamed "It took longer than I thought to track him down. Its ok, Lillian, you can de-transform here, I 'll get you to the hospital. I'm sorry I wasn't there to use 2nd chance."

"Can you please get my miraculous to Ladybug?" I ask just before blacking out.

I heard a "Ok"

Luka's view

I was home flopped on my bed wondering if I could or even should contact Macy yet. I knew exactly where she had gone, and what she had been doing, as I had stalked her as she left. It was more out of curiosity than anything, she was right, being here with Adrien and I wasn't helping her.

I was surprised to find that she was religious and she wanted to help the less fortunate, both directly and indirectly. I probably should have figured it out from the song she tried to sing to Lillian, but Lillian kept wandering off without ever hearing the whole song. The church she went to was friendly, it was like I was treated like I was before I was famous. They treated me for me... I was impressed by how easily she found helping people by inviting them to stay.

Louis texted me "Hey Dad! There is a akuma on the loose. I have detention and can't get away. Please come and get my miraculous."

I wrote back "Omw" and hurriedly dressed and rode to Louis's school.

Once I was there, I had a argument just to see him. Meanwhile, I was getting anxious as the fight was not going well... it was looking more and more like Ladybird would need my second chance, she already had a severe gash in her side from one of the blades.

"Hurry Dad" Louis said after handing me the miraculous.

I nodded and sprinted to a safe place to transform. Upon transforming I strummed my way to the fight zone only to see I was too late, Ladybird was severely injured, blood dripping out of her. She collapsed in my arms

"Where were you?" She snapped.

"Sorry, I had to retrieve the miraculous from Louis as he got detention for knocking a kid out again." I murmured ashamed "It took longer than I thought to track him down. Its ok, Lillian, you can de-transform here, I 'll get you to the hospital. I'm sorry I wasn't there to use 2nd chance."

"Can you please get my miraculous to Ladybug?" Lillian asked just before blacking out.

"Ok" I say, worried how Ladybug would take this. I shouldn't have worried though as the first thing she did was drop everything and went to be there for her friend's daughter.
