Macy's view continued.

I went with Adrien to Felix's party and acted the loving wife I knew Marinette to be. It seemed to me that most of the guests, including Felix himself, were wolves in sheep's clothing. I didn't like it and I could tell by Adrien's expressions he did not either. He was wearing the fakest polite smile I have ever seen on him, it was like when he was modelling.

I met Felix's son, Dante De Vanily, an extraordinary polite but sad boy. He reminded me of Adrien as he was in the show. As he was 11 years old too, I asked Felix if he could attend school and after school activities with our children. After a hard look at me, Felix agreed provided either Adrien or I took him.

I agreed to his terms but negotiated that Nino, Alya or Luka could too. Felix was not happy with this but agreed anyway as I explained that we were rostered to look after the kids on different days and it was better that way so our work didn't overlap our child rearing. Felix just rolled his eyes and said "Whatever."

Dante started becoming himself around us and became Sebastian's best friend. If Dante and Louis were standing beside each other they would often be asked if they were brothers. Depending upon their mood they answered "Yes we are" or "No we are not." Causing confusion. I think this was their main aim.

Felix then became super controlling, about when Dante was 15, and wouldn't let Dante out with anyone. I felt Mallow would make a good companion for Dante so I left her with him. Whenever an akuma attacked then, along would come Murine and help. Murine is what Dante called himself. But this was the future, not now.

Now, Adrien and I were struggling to get through this party. I noticed that Felix was wearing a broach similar to what Adrien's Dad use to wear. I wondered if it was the missing miraculous, I did not get to ask him as Adrien would not let me out of his arms.

"What are you doing Adrien?" I ask

"I am sorry" he spoke in a very quiet voice while nibbling the top of my ears "People are used to Marionette and I being overly affectionate at these things. If I do not do this, they will suspect something is wrong leading to unwanted attention on our family."

I nodded; it was something I understood well from when I briefly moved away to find who I was again. I just never mentioned it as I managed to convince the paparazzi I was needing a change of scenery as a source of inspiration. As we lived in a locked estate, they could not get into photograph our family or see that Paris's new and old superheroes now came out of the one house. Once they had been convinced, they left me alone mostly. Every now and again they would return and hassle my guests.

I did not return back to that house after Lillian had been injured. I did not feel the need to. I had, however, paid the lease out to the end of the year and let the guests stay there without me. When they left, I let others use it until the lease time was up. There was no point in the house going to waste.

"Long time no see, Adrikins!" I hear a high-pitched nasal voice say. I shudder as it sounded like Chloe. "Oh, and hi Maritrash!"

"Hi Clomidia" I greet back earning me a chuckle from Adrien.

"Who knew, M'Lady can joke still. Hi Chloe. You do remember I am married to Marinette, right?" he said sternly.

"Pish! Of course! You know I am joking right?" Chloe pretended that her jab was a joke. "So how is my favourite person going?"

"I would hope I am not your favourite person Chloe. You're married to Kim." Adrien said in a serious tone.

"Other than Kim! Of course, Darling!" she said, sounding like her marriage was not going so well.
