Chapter 9

Lillian's view

The next morning, I woke, strangely alone in my bed. "Huh? I guess I was too late home for the boys to visit." I thought as I got dressed for school, it felt pretty weird being alone again after Louis sleeping next to me for so long and Lucian just starting since he found out about the bullying.

I grabbed my bag and headed down for breakfast. Mum (Alya) had baked us a breakfast ham, cheese and tomato croissants and honey and cheese ones. I took one of each as I headed out the door. Louis and Lucian were encouraging me to walk with them as they left.

When we got out the door and started our walk to school. Annette and Emeline (Emma) came running out from behind us, pushed Louis and Lucian aside and linked elbows with me, effectively causing me to run with them ahead.

"What's this for?" I ask grinning at the looks of horror that they caused on the two boys faces.

"Well, we decided to have a girls night only tonight and want you to come!" said Annette.

"Ok...sure, it's been ages since we have hung out and chatted. I will like that!" I say. "Who is coming?"

"Marcel, Diana, Marjorie and us" Annette said.

I did not mind as none of those girls were in on the bullying. Marcel was probably the nicest, I don't know if it was because her brother was a Couffaine or not. I suspect Diana was nice as Sophia her half-sister was such a brat.

"Where is the sleep over being held?" I ask, as I am pretty sure that it was not at our place or both Mums would have been on the cleaning and cooking warpath.

"Diana's house, as we don't want any boy to hear us and there are boys at both our place and the Couffaine's" says Emma suggestively.

"I see, but what are we going to tell the guys?" I ask as I knew Lucian and Louis were over protective of me.

"Nothing! None of their business, all they need to know is that we are going for a sleep over assuming we see them. But as we have a free period at the end of the day and they do not I do not see how you will see them." said Annette.

That day I did not get to talk with either of the boys, even though I was in a lot of them with Lucian and he was sitting next to me like a guard dog in love with its bone, hissing like a cat at anyone who looked like they were going to cause me trouble. He could not, however, get around his sister in the lunch hours, nor could Louis. Both of them receiving the lecture "You have hogged my friend long enough thank you! Today is MY day to spend time with her." You have never seen more dejected faces.

We rush home and get ready. I talked to Macy about being Ladybug for me while we had the weekend sleepover. She was happy to take over for a little while, but she got me to let the boys know that I was not patrolling with them that weekend, and should a akuma attack occur the old ladybug was substituting for me. So, I did.

I then packed for our sleepover and left to go to Diana's house with Annette and Emma, taking a bunch of baked cookies and bags of chips and popcorn.

When we arrived we were greeted by Diana's Mum, Ondine Kim. "Welcome, dears, Make yourself at home!" so we did. Diana had picked out a ton of movies and shows that we could watch if we were bored, and some games to help us with our gossiping.

"Let's play truth or dare," Annette says.

I groan, "What rules? Spin the bottle or the person who receives the truth or dare can ask?"

"Spin the bottle!" got most the votes. So, we did, unfortunately for me I was first.

"Truth or dare Lil?"
