Chapter 17

Lillian's view

Mum was horrified initially that I was pregnant so young and to some Agreste boy. It was funny to watch her, she didn't lecture Louis or Lucian... No, my Mum hauled up Adrien and Luka and lectured them on their irresponsible genes causing her daughter to be pregnant with their sons. They just sat there and took it with a smirk.

"You done yet Alya?" Adrien asked when Mum had wound down from the lecture.

"For now," she said glaring at them both.

"You know, Alya, I don't think Luka's genes are at fault here, after all he could wait." Adrien said clearly surprising Luka.

"I didn't wait when you were gone though." Luka said.

"Well, there's that, but you could have Macy now, but you are waiting, still aren't you?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" Luka asked.

"I divorced Macy a month ago and you haven't done anything yet. Or am I mistaken?"

"What?!?" Yelled Alya and Luka "When were you going to tell us!"

"I thought it was obvious, you were all there when I gave the divorce papers to her. I honestly thought you knew. You mean that you didn't know?"

"No, we didn't know."

Louis, Lucian and I were pretty much inseparable after I fell pregnant. No-one could kick the boys out and the adults decided that I had to marry at least one of the boys for the child's sake. So I ended up marrying Lucian at 16 with parent permission on both sides.

I ended up being a Couffaine-Agreste-Lahiffe to enable my children be covered by whichever of the men was the child's father. This satisfied the great kitty cat pride enough.

Plagg would say "Well, you sort of got the bug Kitty. So much for Yin and Yang. You guys are the very definition of Yin, Yang and Yong. Thank God this does not happen much. Its way to confusing."

"Yessss" Said Sass. "Hopefully the miraculous will reset and go back to Yin and Yang."

Luka took Macy out to dinner and asked her to marry him. She agreed, apparently after having a meltdown about sleeping with Adrien after some party. Luka took it in his stride. Nothing much rattles that man. If his gene's run true then nothing much would ruffle Lucian. I guess they were since he was a cat who shared.

Misty's view

Luka took me out to dinner to a lovely restaurant, one that I had never been to with any of my friends.

"How did you find this lovely place Luka?"

"I wanted to go somewhere that would be ours, not Marinette's or Adrien's or anyone else in our family. So, I went searching when you were gone. It was recommended to me by one of the church people."

"I see, Its beautiful." And it was, it was a softly lit wood paneled restaurant, it had a homey, romantic feel and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Each table was placed in a way that you felt that you were the only couple in the restaurant. The staff made you feel like you were the most important people in the world.

Luka had arranged a candlelit dinner and had a perfect single red rose given to me attached to it was an engagement ring. When I saw it, he asked "Will you marry me Macy?"

"I can't yet" I say.

"Why? Don't you think we have waited enough?"

I started crying and told him of the debacle that ended up in my divorce from Adrien. "How could you want to marry me after that?"

"It wouldn't have happened if we were married already. Don't worry about it. So, will you please marry me?"

"Then Yes, I would love to marry you Luka" I smile at him through my tears.

Luka and I married shortly after in the registry office. We even filled out our own divorce papers as we had no idea how long I would even be around. Would we even be able to last past one night together or not? Neither of us knew. All we were sure of was Marinette would want Adrien not Luka.

Luka said just after the ceremony "I love you Macy; I have for a long time now. I am thankful you have enabled me to be free of my obsession with Marinette. Though, in saying that, I don't know how I will cope without you."
