"Hi! my name is Keitorin, the girl who asked you your shoe size!" I said politely, because mother taught me to always be polite.
"Oh, hello. My name is Nikoru." Nikoru said with a tremble in her voice, probably because I snuck up behind her.
"So, how are you liking this school? It's probably a big change, am I right?" I said with a smile. I had the feeling that she wasn't used to this type of school. She seemed to be the type of person to attend a public school, not a catholic school.
"Yeah, I guess you could say that." Nikoru said, looking down as she spoke. I knew she had a secret. What person looks worried when you ask them a simple question like that. "Have I offended you?" I asked Nikoru, looking worried. I mean I can't have her going around telling people how rude I am, that would ruin my reputation!
"Oh no, not at all. It's just that, I'm hiding something from my parents." Nikoru said nevously. "Oh? Well why don't you just tell your parents?" I confusingly said. "Because, well, it's a big secret, and they wouldn't like it. Anyway can we just forget about that?" Nikoru said, clearly wanting to change the subject.
"Umm ok, well what classes are you taking?" I said, trying to switch the mood. "P.E, Science, Algebra, and Drama. I know they're all boring, but my parents insist on me becoming a 'fit' doctor, so those are the courses I have to take." Nikoru said. "What about the drama class?" I asked weirdly. "I mean you surely don't have to take drama to become a doctor, right?"
"Correct, my parents don't know about that one. They think I'm taking physics." Nikoru said while laughing, but I wasn't laughing with her. This plan isn't working because all I'm thinking about is how cute she is and how I want to be her girlfriend. "There has got to be something I'm not thinking of!" I thought to myself. "What should I do?"
"Hey, Keitorin." Nikoru whispered. "Yes?" "I have something to ask you." Nikoru said looking jolly and peppy, just like Mr. Teira. "What is it? I have to get to my next cla-" I was cut off by Nikoru. What she said next blew my mind, and I would never look at her as just a friend again.
"Would you support me no matter what?"
