Part 8 - Secret Revealed

*Gulp* "This is it!" I thought to myself as I contemplated whether I should answer the phone or not. 

I starred at that phone for about a solid 15 seconds before I worked up the courage to go andpcik up that stupid phone.

"Maybe he is just wanting to borrow something!" I thought to myself as I answered the phone.

"Hello?" I said with a very regualr tone in my voice, but I had a feeling that this phone call was going to be anything but.

"Hi, this is Kinemi from school!" Kinemi said with a sound of pep. I could here him eating some chips when he paused.

"Oh, hi Kinemi!" I said, as thoguh I already knew him. His crunching was making me hungry, and I could tell he had bad breath just from the way he was talking.

"If you don't know I run a secret LGBTQ+ club after school in the Drama room and we are seeking new members!" He said excitedly.

"Hmmmmm, I don't know anyone who is LGBTQ+ at our school so I think you should call someone else!" I said, trying desperately to end this phone call with Kinemi.

"Don't be silly! I know." Kinemi chuckled like this was a laughing matter, which it was not!

"K-Know what" I quivered, shaking uncontrollably and making my phone wet from my palm sweat.

"I know the secret." Kinemi said. 

"How did he find out? Was it Nikoru?! I am so mad at her!" I thought to myself. There coud be only one thing he could be talking about, me being secretly Lesbian. But, how could he have found out? I never even told Nikoru my secret so how did he find out?

"Know what s-secret?" I said, acting confused but feeling anxious.

Here it is, the moment my whole reputation is ruined!

"I know that Nikoru is Lesbian."

"Huh?" I was in complete shock. I thought for sure that I was going to be caught red-handed. A huge sigh of relief just swarmed through my body.

"Come on, it's no secret. I can clearly tell just by somebodies personality if they are LGBTQ+ or not, and she was definetely under the "yes" column for that one." Kinemi said, acting as if he was an expert on these sort of things (which he probably was).

"Oh, haha! I guess I forgot about her!" I joked as I went to get a glass of water becaue after all that worrying, I needed to hydrate myself.

"Yes, well she is your best friend, isn't she?" Kinemi asked as if he didn't know the answer, but I find it hard to believe that after all of that research he did with Nikoru that he didn't even know who her best friend is.

"Yeah, I guess. I did just meet her a few days ago but we are always talking and I guess we are pretty close." I said, as if I was in an interview, exceptI don't think I would be wearing pajamas during an interview.

"Well, I have a favor I need to ask you to do." Kinemi shamefully said, like he was embarrased to even bring up the question.

"Yeah what's up?" I said, starting to feel a little worried about what he was going to ask me. I wanted to take another sip of my water because I was thristy, but I was to nervous to even pick up the glass.

"I w-want y-you..." Kinemi said, stumbling on his every word.

"Want me to what?" I questioned Kinemi, tryingto get him to spit it out already. I mean, we haven't got all day now.

"I want you to end your friendship with Nikoru."
