"I beg your pardon?" I said in pure shock and confusion. What is he saying? Why would I drop Nikoru because he told me to? Is this part of a plan of his?

"I want you to end your friendship with Nikoru. I know this may sound a little odd but I want her to be as Lesbian as possible and I don't want somebody like you, who is as homophobic as my aunt and uncle, trying to turn her straight. I need as many peoplein my club as I can get and I can't lose someone interested just because they're friends with some homophobic jerk like you." Kinemi said getting more and more intimidating by every word that came out of his mouth.

Why would he say such a thing? I know that is what I seem like on the outside but once he gets to know me he will learn that I'm not like that at all!

"Ummm, well, not to be rude but I don't think Nikoru even knows your name." I said sounding like one of those popular girls in middle school who think they are all that and a bag of chips.

I have never said anything like that before but I had to stick upfor myself. I don't let anybody talk to me like that (other than my parents).

"Excuse me you littl- *Beep*" I hung up that phone right, not even letting Kinemi finish his sentence because I feltso bad for what I said.

I had to put on a happy face as I walked down the stairs to go eat my dinner. My parents can't know about any of this nonsense that is going on right now.

"About time!" my father said in a joking but angry tone, as he passed the garlic bread to my mother.

"Sorry, it was some scammer asking for my Social Security Number to get a chance to win a free iPhone." I said as sweat poured done the back of my neck.

"Uhhhh, those people are so annoying!" my mom said as she scooped some salad on to her plate.

I tried to listen to all of the conversations they had like I usually do, but Icouldn't get what Kinemi said out of my head.

"Was he actually just looking out for Nikoru or did he just want her to be in his club?" I pondered in my head.

"Should I take what he said into consideration?" I thought as I slurpped my spaghetti noodles. I will admit my mom makes one good spaghetti and meatballs.

"Rin. Torin! KEITORIN!" My mom yelled which snapped me out of my daydreaming.

"Are you daydreaming at the dinner table? You know what we have told you about daydreaming, it is not good ettiquette. One more time and we'll ground you!" My mom said, making sure that I get the point, but I couldn't take her seriously while she was sipping her wine richly.

"Yes mother." I said while sitting up straight.

"Now, sweetie. Your father and I were waiting to tell you this a little later, but I can't hold on to this news anymore." Mother said, putting down her napkin.

"What is it Mother?" I asked.

"We want you to move schools."
