"That's such a creepy name.. sounds like it will end up being a really creepy story. Are you sure you don't wanna pick something else?" She asked nervously while she scratched her head.
"It's actually a very interesting story! Had me on the edge of my seat." I replied trying to look at Walker's face but failing since she had it turned away.
When we arrived at Walker's house, she asked me to wait outside for a moment and that she would come out and get me. I waited for what felt like forever until she finally poked her head out and motioned for me to come in. Her house was very different on the inside than it looked on the outside. Much Brighter and much less haunted looking. "So are your parents home?"I asked curious to know what they were like. "Nope. They both work from 3pm-5am." She said from the kitchen.
A moment later she entered the room carrying a large plate of snacks. I pulled out my laptop and showed her what I had found so far when I researched earlier at school.
"It's funny how much Danny Hacker looks like you." I said turning my computer screen so she could see the photo. "Hm.. maybe a little I guess." She said with a slightly nervous sounding laugh. It was strange the way she seemed to grow uncomfortable when we discussed the topic of the missing girl. I assumed it was only because the story was so scary.
I found another article on the internet and read it aloud to Walker.

Dannielle Noelle Hacker, known as Danny to friends and family, was reported missing last week after police discovered the bodies of her deceased parents in her home. The autopsy specialist declared that the wounds were caused by a hatchet, but the weapon still has not been found. They found no traces of fingerprints anywhere throughout the house besides those belonging to the family members, and the only one left in the house was the eldest son.
Charlie Hacker was found the night of the tragedy sleeping soundly in bed. When questioned, claimed to know nothing about the events that took place that evening.
Police believe that Danny was kidnapped by the attacker, and are doing their best to track her down, and hopefully bring her home safely.

"That gives me the chills" she said scowling. It had the same affect on me as we both just sat staring at the laptop. I told her to do some more digging on Danny while I decided to look into Charlie. Most of the articles I had found were a little outdated since they were uploaded around the time everything happened. I was just about to search for the date of the murders when remembered the newspaper Ronnie had presented to me before. So this story had to had be fresh! After digging a bit more I found that the murders and disappearance had happened 2 months after the missing Hacker boy, Jackson, was found dead. The date of the murders was January 14th of this year. But today's date was only February 23rd meaning that this all happened very recently. The thought of that made me shudder.

Charlie J. Hacker-
Age: 19
Occupation: N/A
Parents:
Ronald J. Hacker (1964-2016)
Lucy M. Hacker (1967-2016)
Siblings:
Dannielle (Danny) N. Hacker
Jackson K. Hacker (2005-2015)

That was all I could find on Charlie.. meanwhile Walker began to get tired and I told her we could call it a night. "See you tomorrow detective Ace!" She called as I strolled down her driveway. I turned around and waved at her and smiled, "see you tomorrow detective Bones Jones." After I said that I started to get nervous, wondering if she would take offense to that, but instead she just giggled and disappeared back into her house.

When I got home my mom was sitting on the couch holding her head in her hands, it looked like she was watching the news but had it on mute. When the door shut behind me she jumped up and dove into me, hugging me tightly. "Where have you been Ben?!" She cried, examining me up and down. "I was doing a project with a friend from my school.. what's the matter?" I said a little caught off guard. "I thought you were at the Grease Garage.. I thought you were hurt!" Her voice started to change when worried to angry at this point. "No I'm alri—wait a second.. The Grease Garage?" I questioned as she sat down shaking. Then she grabbed the remote from the coffee table and began to rewind and clicked the mute button to turn it off. She squeezed my hand tightly, and I felt my whole body trembling when I heard these words..

"Later on this evening the Grease Garage owned by Bobby Dennley, has been burnt to the ground. Firemen arrived at the scene quickly pulling three bodies from the depris, each burnt to a crisp.
They have identified that one of the bodies was the owner himself, age 67, but have not yet determined who the other two bodies belong to seeing as they are no longer recognizable. The arsonist responsible is still on the run as police.."

My mom turned the tv off and asked me to say something. I was in complete shock. What was I supposed to say? That my favorite place was now gone? That there was nothing left but ash? "I don't understand mom. I just passed it on my way home and it was fine! It must have happened after I don't understand!" I cried shocked at the fact that I had just passed it almost 15 minutes ago and the place was still standing.
Then it hit me.. Three bodies. "Ron!" I yelled lunging off of the couch and sprinting out the door. I could faintly hear my mom yell after me before I slammed the door behind me, but my brain only cared about one thing. Finding Ronnie.
