Reincarnation [Rainbow Quest Adventure]

Ch.1: Who's up this early?!

After the corrected sun was defeated and Sol was stripped of his armor and locked up, everything returned to normal. No more darkness, the people we're happy and stronger together than ever. Everything was peaceful and a certain non steve was just waking up in his house.

~!Ding Ding Ding!~

*sabre's pov*

"Mmmmm nuu.... I wanna sleep..."

~!!!DING DING DING!!!~

"Ugh...fine-FINE!! I'm coming, I'm coming...!"
Uuugh who is up this early in the morning?? NOT EVEN THE SUN HAS STARTED RISING YET! Sighing, I went downstairs to go get the door. Only to open the door to a very hyper yellow steve.
"Goodmorning Sabre! Sorry for waking you up but you told me to wake you early." said the former assistant. "It's fine, after all we have plans today... Here, come in, you can wait in the kitchen while I go put on some clothes. I can't go in Pyjamas." I mumble tiredly...
"Okay I'll wait in the kitchen" he said as he stepped in and headed to the kitchen. I went back upstairs and opened the closet.

"... What to wear... What to wear..."
I decided not to wear the space suit since I'm gonna need something more flexible. Green Steve, yellow assistant and I have been planning on going on an adventure and that's gonna be a lot of walking. I already packed a bunch of bags with resources. I'm gonna be carrying all the Logs, Tents, Tools and Food since I can carry a lot more in my inventory than a steve can carry in several bags.

I'm getting off topic... Hm... Okay I'll just wear my old outfit. I put on my old black and grey Striped shirt, my brown pants and my green jacket. I finished putting on my high leather boots, they're the best boots for walking. I used to wear boots like that when I was an assassin... Man... Good old times... These boots even have knive holders so I could have a hidden pocket knive on me...just like back then. Am I gonna need a knive? Maybe...

"Welp... I shouldn't let yellow waiting much longer... " I said as I ran down the stairs almost tripping like a fool. "Okay I'm ready! Let's grab the bags and tell light that we're leaving." I say as I grab some bags, including a special bag that is a modified ender chest that I can wear and access anytime. I have some very important stuff in there I don't normally use, like enderpearls, a spare blindfold, golden apples, different potions, an enchanted netherite sword and some netherite ingots... This is for emergency-use only, I never actually use it much... I wonder, do steve's know ab-

"You ready Sabre?" Former Assistent interrupted my train of thought. "Oh- I'm good, just got lost in thought, heh sorry. Yeah I'm ready!" I answered as I walk over to the door. "Alright, let's go find Light Steve. I think he's in the citadel." Said the former yellow assistant as he started walking outside to the entrance of the citadel, which is luckily right next to my house. Before I left the house I grabbed my hidden pocket knive and put it on the small holster on my boot. "...just for emergency..." I wispered as I locked the doors behind me and ran to chatch up to Yellow Steve.

Me being very known in the citadel, was greeted by every guard we saw on duty. As me and yellow walked down to the Colorless Guard headquarters we met one of the elite guards.

"Hello Sabre and Yellow Steve, what brings you here?" Asked the guard, as he walked down the stairs  along with us, probably just finished his shift and is heading down to the sleeping quarters.
"Oh, hey Elite Guard, we're looking for Light Steve." I said as we reached the Door to the Headquarters.
"I think he's in the armory. That's where he usually waits for guards to report back to him." Said the guard as we had to split paths. "Alright, thanks!" I said as the guard headed in the direction of the sleeping quarters and we head to the Armory.

"Huh, I've never been down here before... This place is actually pretty big...!" Yellow chimed up as we walked down the hallway. "Yeah, it branches out pretty far. Alright down this hallway to the right." I say as we turn right.

"Hey Light Steve!" I call out when I see him at the entrance of the armory talking to a guard.
"Huh? Oh morning Sabre, you're up early!" the colorless Steve laughed. "Hmpf, we had to get up early, after all, we're leaving for our adventure, plus we still need to pick up Green Steve on the way." I sassed back. "Man you're sassy in the morning~" the leader of the colorless guard chuckled. "No I'm not!" I argued back "yes you are!" Giggled Light Steve "Fine, I may be a bit sassy in the morning..." I sighed in defeat.

"We only came here to tell you that we're leaving, so yeah. We're gonna head out." I said as I waved, took yellows hand and dragged him out. "O- Bye!" the yellow Steve stammered. "Okay, bye!! Have fun on your adventures!!!" Light Steve yelled after us.

We made our way to Green Steves house outside of the kingdom and knocked on the door.
It immediately opened with a very cheerful and excited Green Steve standing in the doorway. "Hey guys! You two ready for adventures?" Green Steve asked. "Haha you're filled with more energy than all the Yellow Steves combined!" I joked as Yellow Steve held back a laugh. "Oh come on, let's just go!!" complained green.

And with that we started our journey as the sun rose ahead of our path.
