Ch. 36: I Forgor

*sabre's pov*

I get out of bed with a yawn and a good stretch.

The morning sun hitting my face through a window.

" - achoo!" a sudden sneeze escapes me.

"oop- ah... Yeah sure... That's one way to wake me up..." I mumble to myself as I stretch one more time before heading to the closet.

I grab out a green hoodie and some comfy black sweatpants.

I only took necessities with me... So I don't have many clothes.

"good enough." I say to myself.

I run a hand through my hair and decide to just leave it a bit messy.

Hmmmmm...

I'm forgetting something.

Hmmmmm...

Mmmm

I tap my face.

Ah.

My blindfold!

Walking back to the bed, I grab the blindfold from the bedside table.

Putting it on, I take a deep breath and head out of the still unfamiliar room.

Walking through the plain hallway over to the stairs, the voices become more clear.

"hmm that does sound a bit strange... I'll make sure to talk to him about it." a soft voice rings through the lower level of the house.

Hmmm they're in the kitchen.

I walk towards the doorway to the room dedicated to preparing food and sneak a peek at who's in the room.

Inside I find 4 people

Two heavily armored figures, one of which is currently taking something out of the oven.

The other is sitting by the table, talking to a green steve

The tall green figure, I clearly recognize as my green therapist friend, is smiling softly while making small talk with the guard sitting opposite of him.

Lastly there's a yellow steve, just a little taller than me and rapidly crouching and uncrouching next to the guard with the hot food fresh out the oven.

I sigh, recognizing that both of our visitors are close friends of mine.

I walk into the room and groan a quiet "mornin' "

Green steve turns his attention to my voice.

"Oh- Good morning sabre! Did you sleep well?" he asks me as he gets up to give me a hug.

I happily, and a still bit sleepily, embrace the hug.

I suffocate myself by pressing my face into greens chest.

Another person joins the hug and hugs me from behind.

"heeello" former yellow assistant greets me, dragging out the e's

"I slept fine" I muffle into greens shirt, barely audible.

Pulling my tired face away from his chest to glance up at him.

I look up at him with a sleepy smile, he returns a more awake smile.

"little tiny man" he says as he pats my head.

"I'm not tiny! I'm a decent size for a human!!!" I say to the giant stupid green pea.

"you're a giant!" I argue back with a pout.
