Moon and Stars

12 1 1

As the moon hides as it weeps for broken promises.
Hearing 'sorry for all lapses',
As she witnessed the slow downfall of love as deep as the ocean floor,
As their love was not like before.

-

And the stars kept shining as they cheered in awe,
As another couple was  under a storm,
As both surpassed and welcomed each flaw.
As their love cannot be torn.

-

Each story is different,
Each day anew.

-

A witness to each story,
From flowy, and corny,
In sadness and pain
Even in greatness and plain.

-

As they rise each night and day,
'Oh, what story is it today?'
In the sky, they see all the scars,
They are the Moon and the Stars.
