Sitting beneath a tree,
Wondering when can I be free?
This slavery in the 20th century,
Because of people having a sick mentality.

Women should be doing everything,
Men doing almost nothing,
Children being dictated,
Making their dreams tainted.
--
The eldest being insulted,
Saying they must not screw up,
Not minding what they wanted,
Making their minds so fucked up.
--
The youngest being uneducated,
Letting them do what they wanted,
Not teaching good morals and respect,
Not knowing in life what to expect.
--
Strong comparing words,
Slowly decreasing confidence,
Saying judgemental words,
Showing fake smiles in front of the lens.
--
Asking to the one above,
Do we even deserve your love?
But then the promise of tomorrow,
Has become a mournful sorrow.
