I am trying to be a good person
But people give me a reason not to.

I am trying to be a good friend
But their plasticity is getting through my nerves.

I am trying to be a good student
But some teachers' favoritism is getting in the way.

I am trying to be a good citizen
But the people are not being fair.
--
I am trying to be a good daughter
But I always fail on meeting their expectations.
--
I am trying to be a good role model
But people's influence is set on who's famous and who's richer.
--
The more I try, the more I fail.
