Ruby rushes through the hallways of the Hamato Clan eager to show Yoshi her new hairstyle and her new battle kimono.

They were about 16 going on 17.
She busts open Yoshi's bedroom door and sees that Tang Shen already beat her from entering. She could see Tang Shen on Yoshi's bed and Yoshi was handling some paperwork at his desk.
When Rub came in Yoshi could immediately feel a bright smile on appear on his face. He had gotten tired of hearing Tang Shen beg him to buy her a new kimono and jewelry. And seeing Ruby's new style today or even just her smile was enough to make his day.
"Hey Rubes." Yoshi called out to her as she ran in her dreads swinging wildly.
"What is your hair?" Tang Shen asked disgusted by Ruby's hair style.
"Their called dreads. And I went travelling with my father and saw a beautiful black woman with this hair. We had the same skin color and I asked her if she could style my hair like her own. And now I'm getting compliments left and right!" Ruby boasts happily.
Yoshi smiles at Ruby, she was known to never half ass things, she loved culture no matter what it is. She knew the difference between cancel culture and culture appreciation.
Her mother was from Barbados while her father was Japanese. Hence her brown skin and accent.
Ruby rushes over to Yoshi and does a happy spin in front of him while he admires his best friend. Tang Shen narrows her eyes at Ruby, she could tell that Ruby and Yoshi had hidden feelings for each other, but she wasn't going to let Ruby ruin her plans.
"SO! Yoshi..." Tang Shen said clearing her throat loudly.
'She must have sucked dick before she came here, because I know for a fact she doesn't have a gag reflex anymore.' Ruby thought as she and Yoshi raise their eyebrows at her.
"Hmm?" Yoshi asked her giving her a fake smile. He found her interrupting their conversation rude. It's not his fault Ruby's conversation didn't include her asking him for something.
"I did have a question." Tang Shen told him getting into a suggestive position.
'Ruby looks better...' Yoshi thought to himself. "Repeat the question please." Yoshi asked turning around in his office chair and going back to his paperwork.
Ruby shook her head, "I'll see you when your not busy. Cya nerd." Ruby told him ruffling his his black hair.
"I'm not the nerd, we all know that goes to you, the top student of our school." Yoshi teases her as they playfully rub noses.
"Fucking Ruby, always getting in the way..." Tang Shen muttered under breath as Ruby leaves from his bedroom.
She goes to talk again but sees that Yoshi is back to finishing up his paperwork.
Saki knock on the door and pokes his head in. Tang Shen smirks, if Yoshi won't give her attention she'll go to Saki.
"Hey, Saki, how can I help you?" Yoshi asks brotherly. Saki smirks and moves Tang Shen out the way so he could sit down as Yoshi turns around in his chair.
"Did you see Ruby's new hair and Battle Kimono?" Saki asks starting the conversation as they both ignore Tang Shen who was trying to get their attention.
Before they knew they were leaving Tang Shen alone in Yoshi's room, in the dark.
Tang Shen glares at nothing in particular, mentally cursing Saki and Ruby for so easily getting Yoshi's attention.
