Season 2, Episode 9: The Kraang Conspiracy
This is mostly an episode about April so we're going to be going back and forth between Ruby and Splinter hanging out and what the turtles, Nova and April are up to during that time.
Ruby and Splinter stare each other down with playful smirks.
They then do their secret handshake super-fast and bump hips before sitting down lotus style and playfully snatch pieces of candy from each other's bowl.
They repeat the process another 3 times before both giving in and calling a truce with a playful pat to each other's butts.

Meanwhile the boys, Nova and April are running along the rooftops. Nova was keeping up her older brothers just fine, but April was complaining and doing a terrible job.
"How is Nova able to keep up?" April complains as they all stop to let her catch her breath.
"Mom trained me, plus I do gymnastics and have 4 older brothers who drain me daily." Nova said matter-of-factly.
April groans, Nova turns to a nearby roof, "Someone's stalking us. I can feel it." Nova told Leo as she climbed onto Raph's shell.
The group minus April, who was still out of breath, look over to the rooftop where Nova was pointing and spot a shadow.

Ruby and Splinter playfully do cringey dances to songs they loved as teenagers in the dojo while their kids are out the house doing who knows what.
"Looks like you still got it old man!" Ruby teases him as he playfully spins and dips her.
"We're literally the same age, watashi no utsukushii osananajimi (My beautiful childhood friend). Splinter said spinning her again causing her to laugh.

Meanwhile the teens and Nova discover someone who has been stalking them from afar.

Splinter and Ruby tear up as they finish the movie Encanto (Watch it it's so good I cried 3 times).
"That was so beautiful. Lin Manuel Miranda did a great job with the songs." Ruby gushes.
Splinter wipes the last bit of tears from Ruby's face with a loving smile.
"Up for horror or a terrible Romcom?" Ruby asks him, looking through their DVDs.
"Neither, let's watch action comedy, with Jackie Chan, preferably." Splinter told her moving so he was on his back on their shared bean bag chair.
"Deal! How about Rumble in the Bronx?" Ruby asks picking up her collection of Jackie Chan movies.
"I like it. Let's watch it." Splinter told her with a fond smile.
Ruby puts the movie in the DVD player and goes in the kitchen to replenish their snacks for the movie while all the ads and movie trailers play.

Ruby and Splinter stare up at the stars with serene smiles on their faces, both sipping hot chocolate.
"There's the lady with the chihuahua on her head." Ruby points to one of the stars constellations she and Splinter made up as kids.
"There goes the skateboarding bear." Splinter said pointing to another causing Ruby to laugh.

The boys look at April with Shocked looks upon finding out how she came to be.
"I pity your mother." Nova told April; April looks down at Nova.
