Hello, welcome to the first fanfiction that I have published. I'm Red Panda and this is just a short note more about my OC. This does contain spoilers for later in the story, so if you would like to experience the story without spoilers, please skip this chapter. ALSO! I will be uploading as I write, so some days may have a lot of uploads, but most days there won't be anything new.
Alrighty! With that out of the way, here is my OC.
Name: Shinshu Kikami
Nickname: Kiki
Quirk: Solid air - She can manipulate air to form into solid objects, such as platforms for her to step on, or walls. The drawback, the more solid objects she tries to create at once, the weaker and more unstable they become. Along with her body takes massive damage to the lungs if she overuses it.
Characteristics: Dirty blond hair with highlights, blue eyes, lightly tanned skin, 5'5, and thin
Age: 19
Family Relations: Both parents are alive and still together, had a brother who died (cause unknown)
Living situations: Currently struggling to pay rent for a one-room apartment
Job: Currently a cashier at a small grocery store
Traits: quiet, keeps to herself, distrusting, can act very well and very few people know
Opinion on heroes: Doesn't trust them because (to her) they weren't able to save her brother, but understands the importance they play in society and makes sure not to get in their way.
More backstory: When her brother died, she blamed the heroes incapableness. In the end, she got her provisional hero license out of spite, but she doesn't have the same motivation anymore. The story takes place three years after her brother died. She was enrolled at UA high school and decided to withdraw after she got her license. She was in the same class as the big three and would have been one of them if she hadn't withdrawn. Before her brother's death, she was very flighty and bubbly, always wearing a smile for everyone. Afterwards, the only reason she could smile was due to practice. She turned to music to help vent her emotions, frequently writing new songs and singing them in private.
Other quirk details: She can make "steps" for herself out of the air, as well as moving platforms. But this takes more concentration.
Relationships: Due to depression and social anxiety (from brother dieing) she has never dated. She distanced herself from her parents and often contemplates if it's worth living.
She was able to keep her hero suit as a gift and consultation from Principle Nezu, hoping she would remember why she wanted to be a hero and come back.

Air Hero: Windbreaker
Hero costume: Blue blouse, cropped black jacket, white pants, and black boots. She has a holster on her waist and thigh holding knives for close combat. She has a mask that covers her eyes and nose that doubles as a windbreaker so she can still breathe and see when she is falling.
