"We must find a way to restrain her before she causes harm to herself. Or kills one of us." Kurogiri placed his hands on the counter, thinking what could be done. Her screams still echoing throughout the building. At this point, it was a wonder no Pro's had heard her by now.

Dabi sighed in irritation.

"It wasn't supposed to go this way." He ran his hands through his hair, not bothering to get up from the ground. "Fuck, how was I supposed to know she'd be a threat? I thought you said she was a hero or some shit. Not some absolute physco."

Yellow eyes looked down at Dabi before pulling out a file. "She was supposed to be a hero. Her life took an unexpected turn during her second year, causing her to drop out." He set the file on the counter, gesturing for Dabi to read it.

Grunting, he hauled himself off the floor and into a bar stool.

Opening the file, her picture laid before him. A girl with blue ocean eyes had a smile on her face. A scrunchy pulled her blond hair into a braid hanging over her shoulder. Her eyes are holding a spark so bright that Dabi couldn't help but feel a sense of peace and joy even in the current situation.

Kurogiri spoke, breaking Dabi's daze. "Feel free to read it all, just be sure not to burn it."

"Wasn't planning on it" His eyes tracked Kurogiri as he prepared something behind the counter. When had it gotten so quiet?

Did she knock herself out, or is she simply biding her time? The soft glow from the lanterns seemed like some cruel joke when something dangerous could destroy them at any moment.

"As of right now, I think the best course of action would be to sedate her. She is a threat to us just as much as herself." Kurogiri turned back towards Dabi, holding a syringe of something in his hand.

I guess he won't have to worry about getting crushed. The thought was unwelcome in Dabi's head, and I shouldn't have to either. He threaded his hands in front of him and rested his forehead against them. The polished wood counter showed messy hair, scars, and frustration. He sighed, "Do whatever you want, as long as she doesn't die. I don't feel like disposing of someone valuable." The warp gate heard his raspy sound before Kurogiri vanished.

Left alone, Dabi placed one hand on top of her file. Fuck it. He opened it.
