Since your parents are the king and queen of Hell , they had to balance taking care of you and still mending to the problems in Hell.
They told you once you reach a certain age , you were going to start helping out in hell as well , because one day you'll be Queen.
At the time you weren't paying attention to their warnings about potential demons that could come and try and kidnap you or hurt you because they dislike your parents.
You were young , and didn't have any intention of being involved in that mess.
Your quirk wasn't as strong as first so your parents would train you and help you reach your full potential. The training consisted of making your flames larger and more stable and making sure you control it so you don't overheat.
Little did you know this training definitely was worth it.
After school everyday you and Nejire would walk home together since you lived so close to each other , and that was your only girl-friend.
You weren't used to the whole "friend" thing but having a friend definitely made you feel alot better about yourself and changed your outlook on people.
"hey y/n , can I tell you something?" Nejire said while messing with her fingers , signalling she was nervous.
"yeah , what's up Nejire?"
"I just wanted to say... that I really appreciate you being my friend. If it wasn't for you , I actually don't know what could have happened. I mean of course I'm close with Mirio and Tamaki but it's different with them. Idk , what I'm trying to say is thank you." Nejire said with a smile on her face.
a million thing was going through your brain at that moment.
Is she serious right now? please don't be joking. I feel the same way. I don't want to lose her. but the only thing that came out was-
" Nejire , can we be best friends? I mean I feel the same way , and you are my only girl-friend soooo".
and without hesitation , Nejire jumped on your back saying "YES" a million times in your ear. but you didn't mind it tho , this was an important moment for you.
you walked her to her house and started going home yourself. As you were walking tho , it felt weird.
As though someone was following you. without hesitation you grabbed your phone and texted your parents.

demon child🤪~ I'm walking home now , but it feels like someone tailing me. just in case tho I'm sending my location
demon child🤪 sent location.
Momma😌~ be careful okay. we're heading your way now. if anything happens , protect yourself until we get there.
demon child 🤪~ 'kay.
you put your phone back into your pocket. You listened closely as your heard footsteps. You began speeding up without looking behind you to check if it's anyone. But the footsteps got faster. you began to run , as the footsteps got even faster. you finally stopped and turned around.
unknown~ hello child. It's sooo good to meet you in person.
who the hell is this bitch?
y/n~ cut it out. I'm not with the small talk.
unknown~ feisty are we? reminds me of your mother. it's fine tho , because you'll learn to calm down.
after this unknown person said this , they took steps towards you as you began to back up and get into your fighting stance. They launched at you as you began emitting flames from just your hands and aiming it towards them.
this caught them off guard and they fell down. you began walking over to them to resume fighting them but you were stopped . your father stepped in front of you holding you back
"it's okay y/n , I can handle it from here".
your mother took your hand and reassured you that's it's going to be okay. the unknown person was a rebellious demon that had come to take you in order to get back at your parents. but you alone had stopped them.
this is when you noticed that you were strong , strong enough to protect yourself , strong enough to stand up to any threats that came your way. your finally gained some faith and confidence in yourself and that day changed you.
This is how you finally began embracing yourself.
ummmmm idk how I feel about this chapter 😭😭. But um I guess y'all can comment and let me know how y'all feel about it. I don't entirely know what direction I want this book to go but I have a pretty good idea. but we'll see I guess😁
