The darkness wraps all it sees
It takes hold of the hearts unexpecting
Time stands still
Not a single movement can be seen
Here it comes invading all
The lost, scared and lonely
Blocking out any light
All that tries to come in
In the darkness only thoughts are left
Some self destructive
Others leaving a feeling of misery
All feeling lost, broken, sad
Some with scars never fading
This darkness that feels like
Nothingness
Time and time again sinking
Deeper and deeper
Into the soul and mind
As time goes on
The light fades
The darkness grows
Until all that is left is a
Void inside
