Blue and big as far as you can see
A world unknown
That’s far and deep
Drawing in all whose gaze
Falls upon its vastness
Pushing and pulling
At all who stands on land
Its mood ever changing
By day, by the hour, by the minute
At point strong, destructive, deadly
At other times calm, genial, friendly
In its depths full of life
So much remains unknown
For only some living things
Can test and survive its never ending depths
Have you ever seen her endless blue?
Or the sun colliding into her at the horizon?
This beauty that draws all in
Mesmerizing them who’s gaze
Falls onto her with all her glory
