I was curled into a comfy little ball on the sofa, my Konoha headband tied loosely around my neck, reading Naruto Shippuden. My fingers gripped the pages so tightly my knuckles were white. It was an intense moment, another long awaited battle. My heart ached as I watched my favourite characters struggle fiercely with decisions, tears threatening to spill down my cheeks...

When the doorbell rang.

My lower lip immediately shot out in a petulant pout. I closed the book, carefully memorizing the page, and sullenly went to the door. I peered through the peep hole. It was dark outside so I couldn't see clearly, but there was a seriously pale guy with wind swept raven black hair standing outside. I couldn't be sure, but judging by his posture, he seemed sulky too.

I sighed. My new babysitter. I was fourteen for fuck sake - I didn't need a babysitter! But, my heart fluttered when I thought about the guy outside... I guess it wouldn't be so bad, spending my evening with him.

"Lucy! Would you answer the god damn door?" My mother roared from the kitchen. I realised there was a persistent rapping on the door. "Right," I mumbled, though I knew she couldn't hear me. I fumbled with the key before finally sliding it into the lock and unlocking the door. I opened it cautiously. "Sorry," I muttered, glancing up shyly.

I swear my heart imploded.

Dressed all in black was the person I'd cried myself to sleep for, the person who made my heart ache a dull, constant ache day after day.

There, was Uchiha Sasuke.
