Sasuke lurched forward just as I screamed "NO!"

Itachi quickly deflected his punch and kicked his back, sending him flying into the wall. Sasuke used the momentum to his advantage, though, and sent a deadly kunai Itachi's way. Itachi leaned back, dodging it easily.

"Stop it! Stop it!"  I shrieked. "You're going to kill each other!"

"Good!" Sasuke spat. "I'll kill him! I'll kill him for taking you!"

I shook my head. "No, no! You don't understand! Don't kill him, don't kill him! Please, stop!"

Sasuke hesitated, looking at me. "What?"

Itachi had paused too, but then Naruto and the others entered. Shit.

The fighting started all over again, with more intensity. Deidara had appeared, too, and was tossing bombs about the place and laughing like a madman.

My whole body was tense and trembling. They didn't get it. They didn't understand what they were doing and I was changing the plot oh god I was ruining their ending I was ruining their futures...

"COULD SOMEONE UNTIE ME SO I CAN KNOCK SOME SENSE INTO ALL OF YOU?!" I bellowed.

They ignored me.

They continued to fight.

I stared at them all, fighting and covered in blood and out of breath. Then my eyes landed on Sasuke and Itachi. The fiery hate in Sasuke's eyes, and the false hatred in Itachi's. Sasuke didn't understand. He didn't know that what Itachi had done was for him. It was for him and he didn't kill Sasuke because he couldn't. He loved him too much to kill his little brother. Sasuke didn't understand and he was going to kill his brother and then regret it forever.

I couldn't take it.

And suddenly the chains broke.

I felt power well up inside me, and an animal scream escaped my lips. Everyone froze and turned to stare at me.

I lunged for Sasuke and Itachi and was about to push them apart, but they both took several steps back from me before I was even that close. They were both shaking and looked terrified.

"What?" I said. My voice sounded strange, startling me. It sounded layered, like it wasn't just my voice. There was another voice, a much deeper one. It sounded evil.

And something was pressing into my lips. I raised one trembling hand to my face and tentatively ran my fingers over my mouth.

Fangs.

My eyes widened. I looked to Sasuke, but it was Naruto who spoke behind me.

His voice was no more than a whisper, but it made more impact on me than anything else had before.

"Jinchuriki."
