"Maybe you made a mistake, what was she wearing?" I asked.
"Just jeans and a t-shirt."Louis said. Maci was wearing a green dress. Was it really Maddie? Maybe nobody actually took her body? Is it possible?
"Do you think that nobody actually did take her body? Maybe she is still alive?"I said with hope strong in my voice.
"It seems that way, Harry."Zayn said.
"We have to do something. Will you and the girls spread out around the castle and look for her? Explain to the girls once you leave. I will call the guards and have them send out a search party as well."
"Yes. I'll go get the girls now."Louis said.
I nodded as my head spun with all the possibilities. Maddie might be alive! The girls came down with the twins in their arms and they laid them in their cribs without a word.
"Good luck."I whispered knowing they could hear me. They nodded and went through the door. As soon as they left, Maci appeared.
"Did you hear?"I asked excitedly.
"Yeah..Harry.. I have to tell you something." Maci trailed off.
"What is it?"
"Maddie is alive.. she sent me to check on you. She got herself out of that casket. She really wanted to come back and tell you she was alive, well she still wants to, but she's afraid you are doing fine without her. That's why she sent me. I found her when she left her funeral. I know where she is."Maci said.
"Are you serious? Please tell me this isnt a joke."I said, standing up.
"Read my mind. Am I lying?"
"You're telling the truth. So where is she?"
"Follow me."
"What about the kids?"
"Call your friends."
I did. Elounor was closest so she came to take care of them. Maci hid when she got here.
"Thanks El"I said and went out the door. Maci and I ran to a motel. She took out a key card and we went to room 319. As soon as she opened the door, I ran inside. There were clothes on the bed and I could smell Maddie's favorite perfume.
"Maddie?"I called.
"Harry?" She said in disbelief as she came around the corner.
"You're alive."I said and let the tears fall.
"Yeah, I am so sorry."She said and started crying too. I hugged her for what seemed like forever.
"Will you come home?" I asked.
"Of course."She whispered.
"Thank you so much, Maci. I hope that you will still want to be part of Kian and Anna's life."I turned toward the doppleganger.
"Of course, why don't you and Maddie go back to the house and I'll gather up here. That way you can tell your friends before I get there. One shock at a time."She smiled.
We both nodded and left the room to get back to our house.
I put everyone in a group message, including Maddie, and said,
H: Hey, everyone back at the house.
Louis: Be there in one minute.
Zayn: Me too.
Perrie: Okay.
Dani: Comin.
And so on. Everyone beat me and Maddie to the house so when we walked in, there were multiple surprised faces.
"Maddie?!"El screamed.
"Wait, let us explain before anyone else speaks."I said.
Maddie walked over to the twins and picked each one of them up in her arms. Two tears rolled down her cheeks as she walked to me with them each in her arms.
"I am terribly sorry for all that I put you through. I left my casket at the funeral and that is when Maci found me. You'll meet her soon. I was confused, at first. I didn't know where I was or why I was no longer pregnant. I guess Maci had been watching me because she explained all of it to me. I was afraid that you were all doing okay and had forgotten about me, so I sent Maci to check on Harry. When Louis spotted me, I knew Maci had to tell Harry the truth. She lead him to where I was. And now, I'm here."Maddie explained.
"I knew it was you."Louis said.
"I can't believe you're back. We missed you so much."Dani said.
After everyone said how much they missed Maddie, Maci came in.
"Hi, I'm Maci, Maddie's doppleganger." She said when she came inside.
"Thank you. For helping Maddie when she was confused and for bringing her back to us."I said.
"Of course, Harry."She said.
"Maddie, don't you think we should tell everyone that you're aive?"El suggested.
"Yes. Niall, could you call everyone to an emergency meeting in the conference hall? And girs, will you help me get ready while the others watch the twins? Niall, tell them to meet in exactly one hour."Maddie asked.
They all agreed.
Maddie's POV
The girls and I went to the large closet.
"I can't believe you'e actually here."Olivia said. I smiled and picked up a royal blue dress,
"Is this good?"I asked.
"It's perfect."Perrie said.
"I'll get your shoes."Maci said.
We put the dress on me and then they insisted they do my hair. It was a simple but elegant up do.
"Thanks guys,"I gushed.
El placed the crown on my head and I was done.
"We have to go get dressed now,but we will see you at the hall."Olivia said.
They all left and I went to see Harry. He was playing with the twins.
"We should get them dressed."I said.
"Anna has a beautiful blue dress just like yours and Kian has a little suit like mine."Harry grinned.
"Really? Go get them!" As he ran up the stairs and I started undressing Anna first.
"You do Anna, I'll do Kian."Harry said and handed me Anna's dress.
"This dress is gorgeous, Harry."I said.
"Just like her."He said. Once the kids were dressed,we put them in their strollrs and headed to the conference hall.
