Maddie's POV
Once we got to the conference hall, I felt myself becoming nervous. We were planning to lie and tell the crowd that everyone thought I was dead, while in reality the machine's screwed up, and somebody had drugged me so it really seemed as though I were dead. Maci found me when I was taken from my funeral and brought me straight to Harry, who got me all fixed up.
I heard Louis and El on stage, asking everyone to quiet down before she could make any announcement.
"Now that I have your attention, I would like to prepare you for the shock you are about to endure. This is quite the miracle, and I know you will be estatic but you must keep the silence untl the end, understood?"El spoke confidently into the microphone.
"Come on out guys."Louis said. I took an un-needed deep breath and walked out with Kian in my arms. I could hear Harry right behind me and the soft coo of Anna laying in his arms.
When Harry and I came into view, there were various gasps amongst the crowds and numerous people were muttering and whispering, disobeying Elounor's wish.
"I am very unsure of how to start this out, but I guess I just have to tell you. As you can see, I am not dead. I had been drugged to make it seem as though I were dead for multiple days, and the machines at the hospital had been tampered with. I woke up with someone carrying me away from the funeral home. I thought I had gone off the deep end when I saw Maci, my doppleganger, jump out in front of me and my kidnapper. She saved me and brought me safely back to my family. I am terribly sorry for the panic I caused, but I will let you know that my kidnapper is gone, though we thought it best not to release names,"I said into the microphone.
Everyone was silent for many seconds until the place erupted in cheers and clapping. I smiled up at Harry who returned my gesture, before going to the mic himself.
"I don't want any of you to worry about safety because multiple precautions are being placed as I speak and there is a whole new list of precautions for everyone. We are going to head out now, but I hope you all are able to rest peacefully knowing that my wonderful queen is back and ready to get back at em."Harry grinned and led us off the stage.
"We weren't out there very long,"Maddie spoke.
"They were making you nervous."Harry grinned.
"You read my mind?"I tried to glare but failed as we both started laughing, even small giggles erupted from Ki and Anna.
"Are you ready to go home?"Harry asked after we stopped laughing.
"Shouldn't we say goodbye to the others?" I asked.
"No, I am sure we will see them tomorrow."

As we lay in bed that night, I was thinking about what happened today. I realized I felt pretty bad about lying to everyone about what hd happened.
"Harry?"I asked.
"What?"He groaned.
"Do you think I am a bad person for lying to them all like that?"I asked nervously,quietly.
"No,of course not. It was the better decision."
"Yeah, but what about-"He silenced me by pressing his mouth against mine. I had missed this, missed him. I groaned when he pulled away.
"If that was your way of telling me to shut up, maybe I should talk more often."I grinned.
He laughed and resonded with, "No you shoudn't." I pretended to be offened as I threw a pillow at him. I pouted and said, "Go to bed you loser."
"I was trying to do that before you woke me up to ask a stupid question."He smirked.
I groaned and rolled away from him. Not a few minutes later, I felt his strong arms wrap around my waist and pulling me toward him. He kissed my temple before whispering, "I love you," and burying his head in the crook of my neck.
