I will let you know when to play the song so don't start now :)That building of that random roof had soon become one of their favourite places to go. They watched sunrises/sunsets, they star gazed, they had picnics, they danced in the pouring rain, and they just enjoyed life for once.
With some here and there flirting, coming mostly from Dream of course, apart from that they were just friends. But George knew that deep inside he liked Dream more than that. And it made him sad that his bestfriend flirted with him as a joke- he wanted it to be real.
Dream's POV:
Dream had never been open about his feeling and emotions. He had a shitty relationship with his parents but he didn't tell anyone about it, not even George. He was embarrassed because of it. But what he didn't know, is that George also had gone through the same thing and was scared to tell anyone. Nonetheless, this made Dream bottle up his emotions his whole life. He didn't know how he felt about George, all he knew is that it felt
different
Start the song now, make sure to listen to the lyrics it fits the story well in my opinion :)
...
I danced in the desert, in the pouring rain
Drank with the devil and forgot my nameWoke with somebody when the morning came
Dream couldn't pin point why he was feeling like this. Was it the fact that they were bestfriends, or that it was more than that...
'Cause I wouldn't be with you <3
And then I found me a lover who could play the bass.
He's kinda quiet, but his body ain't.Spent the days dreaming and the nights awake,
Doin' things we know we shouldn't do.Cause I wouldn't be with you <3
Says he can't believe he found me,
Wraps his arms around me.But George was just a friend, that he didn't intend on meeting that night at the park.
...
But was it a coincidence? Two random people. At the same time. Same place. Same nightly walk. It felt perfect. But it's surely way too perfect right?
Keep on telling, telling, telling you lies
Keep on telling, telling, telling you lies
Stop the song- sorry lmao
No, Dream was only telling himself lies if he didn't agree to the fact that he felt something more towards George than what his mind let him think, because his heart told him otherwise.
