The following day, sunshine peaking through George's bedroom window pulled him out of his sleep. He slowly opened his eyes, sat up, yawned and stretched before realising he didn't wake up to his alarm. His eyes darted to the clock and it's arms pointed to 1:46PM. "Oh SHIT." He shouts and scurries out of bed to run around the house to find his stuff.

"What's all that hassle up there?" Dream's raspy morning voice echoes from downstairs.

"I'm just really late for work I completely forgot and must of fallen asleep before setting my alarm." He replies.

"Silly George, I called in ill for you today so you're not supposed to be in work" Dream cackles.

"Oi, you almost gave me a heart attack you should've told me straight away" George rolls his eyes and attempts to sound mad but ends up laughing to himself. He calms down and goes to put on some joggers and a hoodie to go make breakfast, which he had missed because it was already afternoon.

Half way across the living room he is met with a very tight hug from behind, that scared him of course, he was still half-asleep. Well maybe not so half-asleep anymore after that jump scare, but Dream's warm embrace calms him down. It's such an amazing start to the day. He always feels safe when he's with Dream, he always feels loved. And that's something that he doesn't feel with other people.

"What's up with you today you're not normally this nice to me?" George laughs and tilts his head to the side to see Dream's wavy hair resting on his shoulder.

Dream proceeds to say something however his face is still buried in George's hoodie so it just came out as mumbles. "I can't hear you Dream lift your head."

He sleepily does as he's told, and now they're face to face staring into each other's eyes before Dream breaks the silence with, "I said, you look extra pretty today" and gives a little smile. George could tell he had just woken up because of his raspy voice but he loved it, it complimented the flirting.

George couldn't help blushing as per usual so he starts giggling and hid his face in the hoodie's oversized sleeves.

"Hahaaaa I saw that Gogy don't you hide from me." He says in a high pitch tone and starts tickling him, upon seeing George's reaction, he brings out his very common 'tea-kettle laugh' which just makes George burst into laughter. He manages to break out of Dream's arms and waddles to the kitchen.

"You win... for now!" Dream shouts and goes to sit down on the sofa. The rest of the day they spend together pretty much just cuddling on the sofa while binge watching movies. Afterall, It seems like they've both been through a lot the past few days.

And just like that, the rest of the evening passed but just before the day finished, Dream says: "Hey George?"

"Yeah?"

"Tomorrow we gotta get up early, I'm wanna take you somewhere nice and explain everything. I hate hiding secrets from you so I think it's about time."

"I agree, about time" George rolls his eyes sarcastically and makes himself comfortable again.
