By the time George stumbled over to some bushes nearby, Sapnap was already sat on a tree stump sharpening his knife. Slouching and not making eye contact. He seemed in a bad mood, like he didn't have a care in the world. He was clearly pissed at something but it wasn't George's place to ask what happened.

"There's been a change of plan." He muttered

"... what plan?"

"Not your business but get out of here. Just walk through these trees and keep walking straight you should find your way out." And just like that George's supposed 'attacker' that he met not so long ago was sending him on his merry way. This whole situation was so peculiar and definitely could've ended completely differently. However this 'change of plan' thing had technically saved his life- or atleast let him get away.

Aswell as this, the original reason that had led to this all happening had completely vanished. He was supposed to just follow Dream, confront him then go straight back home. He hadn't seen Dream atall however and to be fair you save your own ass before anyone else's but does that mean leaving your friend behind? Well. Not even just a 'friend' but more than that so it made George feel even more guilty.

Letting all these thoughts roam through his head, with no hesitation of course, he started walking the direction in which he was told looking back a couple times to make sure it wasn't a trap or anything. It all felt too good to be true.

It was odd.

From behind the trees, the sky was peaking through and so was the distant buildings. A small smile creeped onto his face, he was really out, no traps, no tricks. But that just made it seem even more weird...

"Oh and by the way- he's not who you think he is" Sapnap called out shouting over the sharp noise of his knife that was still being scraped against rock.

He had so many questions he wanted to ask but he knew they can't be answered by this man. He had to find Dream first.

From that simple sentence spoken, George didn't have anymore doubt in his suspicions. And at this point he didn't even care he just wanted to see Dream and get out of this awkwardly tense situation.

That wasn't the only thought surfing his mind however as another one had emerged.

How does Sapnap know him?

>>>>>>

George knew his way back, of course he did. He knew almost every corner and crease of London. What he didn't know though was how he managed to walk that far through the forests. He ended up on the other side of central London actually fairly close to the park.

The special park that only beamed good memories, the park where he accidentally stumbled upon his future lover. Or atleast that's what George liked to imagine it as as they weren't exactly 'lovers'. Yeah they kissed once and neither of them showed signs of regret, but they hadn't talked about it since. And now who knows where he'd wondered off to-

Dream POV:

-but it was the opposite this time. Dream was sat on their apartment's sofa with his legs stretched out in a comfortable position.

Normally I would be the one roaming the streets at night and sorting out... well sorting out business, but this time George was gone for almost a whole day. I may have known who he was with but that isn't the most reliable source from my experience...
