George couldn't sleep for hours, what felt like the whole night after what had just happened. All he could think about was his bestfriend that had disappeared into thin air, and the masked man's laugh that conveniently sounded just like him. But it couldn't of been him surely, Dream always told George everything, or he thought it was everything.True the fact that Dream was always very secretive about some things. He still had sudden bursts of panic where his senses sharpened and he got all nervous, just like the first time they met when he walked George back. But he never thought of it as something, after all George technically didn't have to know where Dream lived and worked. Maybe Dream felt embarrassed about it or something, either way George didn't want to push it so never questioned it.
All this overthinking must've made George even more tired because soon he drifted into sleep, his mind was finally at ease.
The next day he woke up, possibly more sleep deprived as ever, he lifted himself up and got ready for the day. He was half way up buttoning his shirt infront of the mirror until he realised,
"shit, it's a Saturday day off." He groaned loudly to himself, rolled his eyes back and made his way back to bed. He walked into the room and froze mid-step. He saw his phone light up with a notification. He probably never ran faster into his room ever.

George slammed his phone into the bed and covered his face with his hands. He missed him so much and was worried but why would Dream do that, he knew it would hurt him. He felt tears prickling his eyes but he held them back and instead sunk his face into his pillow.
How coincidental he was gone the day that incident happened to George. All the pieces matched, although there weren't a lot of them, probably not enough so George tried to not imply anything yet.
After a while George finally lifts his head up and picks up his phone to see what else Dream said. Apart from the messages that just read his name and an occasional 'George stop ignoring me', only one message stood out which read:
"George meet me at the spot today at 17:00 okay?"
George hesitated to reply and decided not to into the end. He was still annoyed that he hadn't gotten an explanation but he decided he should go. Dream will have to explain himself then.

George was standing on the roof, he was staring in the direction of the figure sitting down in it's usual spot. He sighed and walked over sitting down, this time he wasn't greeted with a hug like usual but an awkward smile.
Dream was embarrassed, George could tell.
As he should be. He thought and also gave a smile, however it quickly faded as his face turned serious."So, where were you so busy all day that you couldn't show a sign of life?" George said facing away from Dream.
"George I told you it's nothing, it's not important. I just wanted to come here to spend time with my bestfriend. I missed you." Dream said calmly and lovingly, however George reacted with completely opposite energy.
"Dream you can't do this to me then expect me to take 'nothing' as an answer!" George shouted, as all his emotions he's been bottling up got released. He got up and started walking, trying to wipe away the tear streaks off his overheated face, but was surprised with a powerful yank from behind. He spun around and almost head butted Dream as their bodies touched, Dream's hand still gripping onto George's shirt.
Their eyes met once again, like the first time they came to this exact spot. George's angry expression quickly faded into awe. He forgot how cute Dream's freckles looked, and how his hair fell perfectly into his forehead in a wave like shape.
Dream's expression also changed, but more worry than awe as he saw George's teary eyes. The brunette obviously noticed his sudden look of worry and broke away the eye contact to wipe his tears away but Dream's soft hand pulled his wrist away from his face to meet his eyes again.
"I was just really worried for you okay?" George said embarrassed now, not sure if it's because of the fact that he started crying, or because of the eye contact.
He got no response, Dream was too busy tracing George's jawline with his finger until he reached his lips.
"Fuck it." Dream says before lifting George's chin up and connecting their lips. Their lips moved in sync like it was meant to be, it felt perfect like no other kiss any of them have ever had before.
They both wanted it and they knew it, they were just both scared to take the first move in fear that the other won't feel the same way, but after this they both knew that the other wanted it as much at they themself did.
They shared a short but passionate kiss which finished with both of them staring at eachother with shock, especially George who confirmed it with his bright red blushing.
"Don't be worried I will always be here for you even if I'm not actually here, I will always come back for you remember that." With that, Dream give George a peck on his forehead and left George to his thoughts.
What just happened? George thought with his lips still parted. He was bright red and he knew it, that must've explained Dream's proud smile he had on his face as he was leaving.
At that moment and during the kiss, George had forgotten about everything, even why he was annoyed at Dream in the first place.
It didn't matter anymore.
His crush/bestfriend likes him back, which might've been the happiest moment of his life. Although it didn't last long it mean't so much to him and that very kiss replayed in his head as he walked home and when he was laying in bed. He couldn't stop thinking about Dream.
