I have returned, I know I know applause to muah xD Anyways sorry guys for the horrible wait, but I'm back now! And hoping to be posting more on here. Enjoy chapter 18 loves <3

Previously: "I may have know who he was with but that isn't the most reliable source from my experience."

Dream's POV:

Everyone has secrets, some are less important, some are pointlessly to speak of, and some are solemnly sworn to not be spoken of.

You see, Sapnap was one of Dream's old friends who he's know for years and years. They knew eachother and treated eachother like brothers, but just like in every sibling relationship, there always has to be disputes and arguments. So of course this means they've had their ups and downs over the past. Aswell as this, not many people have ever seen them together therefore take them as strangers.

They both owed eachother a number of favours which in this case was Sapnap's turn to fulfill.

The last time George saw him was right after Dream picked up that damn phone call that made him stop mid-step and basically vanish. On the other line was indeed, you guessed it, Sapnap. Little did George know he was about to meet the caller in person, totally by accident right?

Now Dream's so called 'business partner' aka Sap, had people be his eyes and ears everywhere and anywhere you could think of... it was scary but not many people knew about them.

After getting his warning, Dream of course couldn't let anyone follow him especially not George, so he called in the favour. The favour was simple, "get him away from me and take him somewhere safe." Note how there wasn't any mention of knifes or kidnapping... like I said they had 'minor' disputes.

George's POV and back to present day:

So George made it out. Even if he didn't really make it out, his capturer just let him go... he still couldn't wrap his head around why but that was the least of his concerns. He hadn't had water or food in a while and was feeling the effects of it, the sunny weather also didn't help.

He could see King's Park, or better know as special park, a few yards away so he quickened his pace to get there faster. His original plan was to just walk straight home from there, but he could really do with a rest to let the adrenaline settle.

When he made it to the Park gates, a smile snuck onto his face as he spotted the bench it all happened at. The day he met him. Memories start re-appearing in his mind as he laughs off the fact he was scared shitless that night, and now they're bestfriends?... lovers?... Either of those didn't quite fit but who knows maybe one day he'll find out if they were meant to be.

He gets to the bench and before he takes a seat, he checks his pockets and finds that he still had his phone, wallet and house keys but was sure he didn't have them on him before. "Atleast I got them back" he shrugged and sits down.

He wanted to call Dream and tell him all about what happened but he hesitated. "Why am I the only one that cares? Surely he should be the one calling me as I'm the one who went missing and never came home." He said clearly feeling hurt.

Instantly he looks down at his phone to discover it's dead. "...well that makes sense. Okay maybe he did call me and it just didn't come through?" He gives it his best guess and puts his phone back while returning to enjoying the sunset resting along the city line.

Often I am upset
That I cannot fall in love but I guess
This avoids the stress of falling out of it

Alone, but remembering the happy memories he had from this place.

Are you tired of me yet?
I'm a little sick right now but I swear
When I'm ready I will fly us out of here

From watching the city's lights shine through the eerie winter air, watching the stars scatter the skies, to meeting a stranger that was supposed to be like any other stranger he meets, but became so much more than that.

I'll cut my hair

The sunset George was now watching mirrored the beautiful sunrise they shared that morning.

To make you stare

He there and then, after re-living those memories, decided he won't give up on Dream that easily. He's gonna do whatever it takes to get rid of what's stopping Dream from being with him. Because he knows for a fact, they were meant to meet that night at the park.
