Changes (Lisrene)

"Hello? Who's this?" I asked while looking outside the building in my Windows here at my office, My last meeting just ended and I can now finally take a rest after a long discussion earlier.

It turns out that Jennie will be the partner of Lisa, I didn't know that she's an architect, She's even known worldwide and I didn't know about it.

"Irene! It's me Tae!" The other line said making me furrowed my brows, "Yeah,Who's Tae?" I asked lazily making the person in the other line Sighed.

"Yah! You don't know me?" The other line asked making me massage my temple.

"Yeah, is this Taehyung? Taeyeon Unnie in the Cafeteria, Taeyang Oppa the guard or Tae in my old school?" I asked making the person In the other line laughed so hard.

"It's me Taehyung!" He said making me rolled my eyes while hearing his laughs. "Oh, What do you want?" I irritatedly asked, While looking at the peoples working.

"Let's meet, I'll wait for you at the ice cream shop near at your crib." He said making me sighed, "Tae I can't, I have something to do." I Simply said making him chuckled.

"Oh,Okay then. Next time?" He asked excitedly making me shook my head, "I don't know Tae, I'm sorry okay? I'll make it up to you next time." There's a long silence until he end up the call.

"Wassup was- hey What's with the frown Cous?" Someone spoke in front of me making me jumped from my seat, I looked at Jennie who's laughing while shaking her head.

"What?" I asked furiously while holding my chest, she nearly gave me a heart attack.

"I see you're not in a good mood, but I'm here to say something." She said while wiggling her brows making me raised mine.

"What it is?" I asked while acting to find something in my table, "You will share your office with someone." She said making me stopped from my track and looked at her.

"What do you mean?" I asked furiously, "Just ask Auntie." She simply said making me rolled my eyes on her.

"Okay." I simply said before giving her a dismissive wave and go back to work again,She immediately leaved my office making me sighed.

A lot of things come up into my mind as I saw the picture beside of my pc, there's a photo. Our photo to be exact, I placed it there since the day I came back from my one week leave.

"Do we still have a chance?" I asked out of nowhere talking to the picture in front of me, Memories will be forever memories and we can't go back anymore.

"I'm still holding on." It came out as a whispered before sighing and standing up from my seat.

I checked my watch and it said it's already 7 in the evening, I zoned out for that long? I wonder if my mom is still here, Checking my office once again and fix myself to the mirror before leaving my office.

I used to go home late and it's not a big deal for me to see someone who's still inside the building, but today is different from those days.
There's no staffs, the only sound that you can hear is the noise coming from the air conditioner.

"Woohoo," I yelled at the hallway while walking, I'm always doing this trying to find some staffs who's sneaking at the building.

While walking at the hallway, I suddenly heard a loud thud coming from behind. I immediately fasten my walk and trying to enter the elevator as soon as possible, I can hear the footstep becoming fast as I continue to walk.

This is the first time that I felt so nervous like this, as I enter the elevator I immediately punched the number of the floor and patiently waiting for the door to closed.
