𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑠𝑖𝑥

Scarlett walked behind Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, while she was beside Jar Jar. They soon got up to a balcony, once the queen, and others were in sight, they dropped down. The two Jedi ignited their lightsabers, Scarlett had her blaster and was shooting the battle droids, while Jar Jar was just doing whatever he seemed to be doing.

"We should leave the streets your highness." Qui-Gon advised the queen.

"Get their weapons" A captain told them. Scarlett stood beside Obi-Wan, she tilted her head, taking note of how fancy the clothes were that they wore.

"We're ambassadors for the supreme chancellor." Qui-Gon informed them, "Your negotiations seemed to have failed, ambassador." "The negotiations never took place." Qui-Gon responded, looking directly at the older man. "It's urgent that we make contact with the republic." He finished.

The same captain from before spoke up, "They've knocked out all our communications." Scarlett got an idea that came to her mind. "Do you have transports?" She asked, they looked at her. "In the main hanger, this way." The captain directed the group.

They walked into the hanger that had speeders and a bigger ship, the pilots were sitting on the floor, guarded by battle droids.

"There are too many of 'em." "Won't be a problem." Qui-Gon replied.

"Your highness, unde rthe circumstances, I suggest you come to coruscant with us." The older Jedi suggested. "Thank you, ambassador, but my place is with my people." "They'll kill you if you stay, your highness." Scarlett spoke up again.

The older man from before had a look spread across his face, "They wouldn't dare." "They need her to sign a treaty to make this invasion of theirs legal, they can't afford to kill her." The captain once again told them.

Qui-Gon started to speak again, "There's something else behind this, your highness. There's no logic in the federation's move here. My feelings tell me they will destroy you."

Scarlett sighed, she rolled her eyes as she waited for an answer.

They walked towards the pilots, "We'll need to free those pilots." The captain told them, pointing to the pilots sitting on the ground. "I'll deal with that." Obi-Wan told him, looking at Scarlett and giving her a knowing nod. Scarlett grinned slightly, reaching for her blaster as she walked towards the group with Obi-Wan.

Obi-Wan cut off two of the battle droids' heads while Scarlett blasted the others, she then helped shoot others that were shooting at the queen and Qui-Gon, and the rest of the group.

Scarlett, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan soon got onto the ship along with the rest of the group there.

Scarlett went to the cockpit with Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon.

"There's the blockade." The other ships started blasting at them. "The shield generator's been hit!" Both the smuggler and a different captain exclaimed at the same time. "We're losing droids fast." Obi-Wan commented. "Well thank you, captain obvious." Scarlett thanked sarcastically.

"If they can't get the shield generator fixed, we'll be sitting ducks." The captain from before informed them.

"The shields are gone." Scarlett told the group. "Power's back. That little droid did it, bypassed the main power drive." He paused, "Deflector shields up at maximum." He finished.

Scarlett looked to the right, seeing a hologram of the parts, "There's not enough power to get us to coruscant, the hyperdrive is leaking." She said, crossing her arms. "We'll have to land somewhere to refuel and repair the ship." Qui-Gon spoke. "Here master, Tatooine..." Obi-Wan had trailed off.

Later, they were in the presence of the queen and a few of her handmaidens, and the droid unit that had brought the power and shields back.

"R2-D2, your higness." "Thank you R2-D2." The droid, R2-D2, beeped in response.

"Padme, clean this droid up the best you can. It deserves our gratitude." The queen told one of her handmaidens known as Padme. Scarlett looked at the girl, she might have been only a couple years younger than her.

Scarlett left to a room with padme for her to clean up the droid unit.

"So, you're Padme?" She asked out of the blue, surprising the younger girl. "Sorry." She apologized, "It's alright, what's your name?" Padme responded, asking a question in a return. "Scar, well, it's Scarlett, but I'm kind of used to it being Scar." Padme nodded in understanding.

"How did you end up here?" She asked, wondering about Scarlett. "I helped fly the ambassadors to the trade federation station." Padme gestured for her to continue, "I'm a pilot, and a smuggler." She finished. She expected Padme to back away or even blink in disgust or something else, but she hadn't.

They both heard and felt the ship stop, which meant that it had landed on the planet of Tatooine.

Okay, I did it. I wrote a chapter with more than 400 words.

I love how Scarlett basically just met Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, is now on a slight mission to help keep the queen alive, has no idea who some of these people are, and is willing to help them.

I just finished another tea. I live on tea honestly.

Scarlett and Lennox are gonna meet soon. Like, in the next chapter soon.
