Lennox went to the room that Obi-Wan had told him to meet him in.

"What'swrong then?" Anakin asked.

"The senate is expected to vote more executive powers to the chancellor today."

"Well that can only mean less diliberating and more action. Is that bad? It will make it easier for us to end this war." Anakin responded.

"Be careful of your friend Palpatine." Obi-Wan warned, looking at Anakin before walking off.

The younger Skywalker looked at Lennox, raising a brow.

"What do you have to say for this?" He asked.

"I'm not going to say anything." Lennox told his brother, catching up to Obi-Wan.

"Obi-Wan, where are-" "They're with Padme right now." He nodded.

"Chancellor Palpatine had originally offered to watch them, but I told him Padme could since they are her niece and nephew." "I don't trust him."

"Allow this appointment lightly, the council does not. Disturbing, is this move by chancellor Palpatine." Lennox waited outside, but could hear them.

He hadn't picked up on much, although he did hear Anakin's slight tantrum.

He could have been there.

He could have saved Scar.

He could have saved his wife.

He was still greiving.

He knew he shouldn't.

But he couldn't help but to.

"I could have saved you." He was in his room, curled up in a ball almost.

If only he could have seen her.

She would be looking right at him, telling him it was never his fault, despite him not being able to hear her.

Lennox knew very well it was against the Jedi code, and so did Scarlett, but that didn't stop the feeling.

They needed each other.

Scarlett was a moon, and he was a sun.

Lennox knew it wasn't his fault, but he still thought that if he had've been there by her side, she would have stayed alive.

Just stay alive,

and that would be enough.

He thought that he could be enough, and they could have been enough, and it would be enough. They would find a way to raise their children.

"Why couldn't you stay here."

"I should have just went."

But the thing was, if he had have went, he would have known her plan.

She was terrified of him being killed instead.

And yes, Lennox wanted his blonde pilot back.

"I will avenge you." He whispered in a soft tone.
