Maya's POV

I smiled down at the envelope that just came - I had ordered a bunch of photos for a scrapbook I had decided to make since I had the time now. I was currently 4 months postpartum with Josh and I's third baby, Heidi.

Josh and I became an official couple just before my 18th birthday and we have been inseparable since, which is how I ended up pregnant at 19 with our oldest baby girl, Kenzie. Josh and I got married when she was 2 and we then started trying for baby number 2, however she did take a while to come but eventually 4 years after we got married I gave birth to our middle daughter, Lexi.

"Mom, you gotta tell dad to get off my back." I looked up to see my sassy 10 year old walk through the front door of our house, shortly followed by my husband carrying 4 year old Lexi.

"Lower your voice please Kenz, Heidi is having a nap. And Josh," I turned to look at Josh who was putting Lexi down on the ground, "what did you do?"

"Nothing." He shrugged.

"He completely embarrassed me." Kenzie exclaimed folding her arms over her chest.

"I did not." He copied her actions.

"Right, Lex, run up to your room but quietly." She nodded and ran which meant I could focus on this row between my oldest and my husband. "Can someone please explain what's going on here." I demanded rather than questioned.

"Dad had a very embarrassing chta to my teacher in front of the whole class!" Kenzie exclaimed.

"Well I wasn't expecting to pick you up form class only to find out you've been learning more about growing up!" I sighed at my husband's words finally understanding what was going on here.

"This is about the fact her class have been learning about the facts of life, correct?" They both nodded. "Kenzie is 10, Josh. She's going to start going through things-"

"Mom, gross!" She interrupted me but I just glared and continued.

"Kenz, Josh. It's life." I turned to my daughter, "you're going to start experiencing physical and emotional changes. And you," I turned to my husband, "are going to have to suck it up and like it because she's 1 out of 3 who are going to go through this."

"I just don't understand why you have to learn about anything other than puberty if they're not going to do, anything, other than puberty for a long long time." He sat down on the sofa and used his hands to cover his eyes.

"Daddy, I'm always going to be your baby." My heart melted watching our oldest sit next to her dad and give him a reassuring and loving hug. "Even when I want to have my own baby and have to have a man's-"

"Kenz, enough." Unfortunately my daughter did like to wind up her dad as much as me.

"I'm joking, it's gross. Anyways I'm going to go watch a movie with Lexi. I promised her Frozen."

"More like you promised her." Josh picked Kenzie up and gave her a kiss on the head. "Just remember that I'm your dad and it's my job to embarrass you. Now go and have fun." He let her go and came and sat down next to me as we heard her little footsteps run towards the staircase before we heard her mouth open.

"And by the way, I don't want any more siblings if that's how they're made"

Moment ruined but I couldn't ho but burst into laughter.

"I don't like that she's growing up." Josh whispered.

"I know baby, me neither." As if by queue Heidi's baby monitor went off.

"I'll get her. You sit and finish this page. Going to go tell Heidi that she has to stay a baby forever." I chuckled this time listening to my husband's footprints head towards the staircase. "Oh and Maya?" I turned to see him smiling back at me.

"Yes boing?"

"Thank you for making me a dad."
