The holidays were coming up and you were really excited. You were going to stay with Daphne because the both of you—plus Daphne's parents and Astoria—had been invited to Pansy's parents annual winter ball for the rich and pureblood families.

The Weasleys were staying at Hogwarts, which you had been sad about but you were happy that Harry wouldn't have a horrible Christmas like the previous years celebrated with the Dursleys.

On the day before you were leaving for Christmas holidays, you had gotten detention for doing a prank on Malfoy. Out of your luck, you had gotten it with Professor Snape.

You were heading to the dungeons after dinner to do your detention and saw that the professor wasn't here yet. You waited by the classroom door, leaning on the wall, stuck in your thoughts until you heard a low, stern voice. You flinched when you heard it and stood up straight.

"Miss Webbund, may I ask what you are doing here?"

"I got a detention professor."

"For what reason?"

"Pranking Malfoy."

"Of course, I have been told you have been doing it frequently?"

"Yes professor."

"Come in the classroom now. I wanted to talk to you about something for a while now." Professor Snape says darkly.

You follow him into the classroom and sit in one of the desks while he sits at his own desk.

"What did you want to talk about?" You asked curiously.

The professor ignored you and said, "I wanted to talk to you about your parents. I assume you know how they died?"

"No sir."

Professor Snape raised an eyebrow in surprised but quickly lowered it and had his emotionless face again. "They died because of the dark lord." He had said died slowly.

"Why did you say died like that?" This time it was your turn to raise your eyebrow. "And why do you say "dark lord" instead of "he-who-must-not-be-named" or "you-know-who" sir?"

"That does not matter, Miss Webbund," the professor said sternly. "Do you know the initials J. W.?"

"No. Why are you asking?"

"Nonsense, you got a letter from someone with those initials."

"How do you know about the letter?" You almost yelled.

"Mr Malfoy told me about it." He said plainly.

"He ruins everything! He wasn't even supposed to read it!" You scoffed and crossed your arms above your chest. "That's an invasion of privacy!"

"Then you must tell him to stop invading your privacy," Professor Snape said lowly. "That is not a problem of mine to solve."

"He hates me! There is no way he would listen to me!" You uttered.

"I see that you feel the same way about him Miss Webbund. May I ask why?"

"He makes fun of muggle-borns by calling them mudbloods. He also makes fun of blood-traitors, poor families, anyone who isn't in Slytherin, basically. He is arrogant. He tries to act like he is the best person in the world because he's rich and a pureblood! But you shouldn't make fun of someone because of that! Muggle-borns are just as capable of magic as we are! They shouldn't be treated different at all! Rubbish, I say!"
