Song Recommendation - Born For This - The Score

The heat was immense in the small room. Even though the fire resistance potion protected the subject who drank it, it did little to offer protection from temperature of the heat. The little protection from the heat it did offer, was only enough to keep their (the subject's) skin from feeling as if it were burning.

"I'm checking my vital signs~"

Wiping the sweat from their brow, (Your Name) leaned against the wall to catch their breath. Firmly resting two fingers under their left jaw, they waited as they checked their pulse, counting how many times their heart had begun to beat per minute.

'173, my heart rate is still normal. That's good. I don't have any more regeneration or healing potions right now; they still have a good half an hour to finish brewing before they are at peak condition.'

"Drawing my battle lines

Going to war again

Feeling the rhythm inside of my chest~"

Letting out a deep sigh from relief, the potions protege left the small room, entering the much larger lab that they preferred using. Making sure to move swiftly, they made their way over to the oak desk, where they grabbed their book and quill.

"All I need is just a pen

I know I was born for this

know I was born for this~"

Walking back into the hot room, they quickly discarded the book onto the floor in a corner, before pushing their hands into the fireplace.

Gently touching the smooth, thick, elastic metal, they put their hands underneath of it, scooping it up, the flames licking (Your Name)'s hands as they removed them slowly from the fireplace.

Moving swiftly over to where their smithing table laid, they cut through the metal using the chisel that had hung from a leather strap on said table.

Splitting the metal into two, the deity looked over to their armor stand, grasping the diamond boots. They were extremely shiny; a glossy layer of various enchantments protected it from the elements.

Taking one of the boots, along with one chunk of the metal, they smothered the diamond boot with it, before using the hammer to gently pound it. When they were satisfied with how it looked, they repeated the same process on the other boot.

"Don't care for the critics

My words are like physics

A force that they can't stop~"

By the time they had finished, the metal that coated the boots were beginning to cool down, as the fire resistance sputtered with life for a few seconds, before dying off. No matter how much their body begged for a break, (Your Name) ignored the urge, bending down to pick up the notebook, using the quill to mark a blank page.

"Step 2 - Complete"

Walking back into their lab, the potions protege walked to where their cauldron and brewing stands laid. Checking them carefully, so that they didn't interrupt any potions that were still brewing, they were pleased to find out that they were all finished.
