"So that's your supposed sister?" Tessa asked as i showed her Essence's Instagram.
"Yeah, that's what it said on the papers I found in my dad's office" i said pointing to Essence's name on the document.
"I can't believe your dad kept this from you and Darius. Does your mom know about her?" Tessa questioned.
"I'm not sure, but now I know why he wouldn't let us go in there. He has always been so closed off about his past, whenever I ask him about it he just changes the subject or gets mad." i said looking back down at the picture.
I have always wanted a sister, not that my family wasn't enough. It just felt like something was missing. My dad and mom gave me and my brother Darius almost everything. But why did my dad try to hide Essence from us?
"So what are you going to do?" Tessa asked.
"There's an address on the paper, it says that's where she lives so... I guess I'm going to go meet her." I said with excitement.
