I had been sleep for days now, I guess you could say I was emotionally and mentally exhausted. All these secrets were taking a toll on me.
I began hearing footsteps walking towards my former bedroom. Though I don't quite remember how I got in here, it was all a haze.
"Is she dead or something? She's been in there for like 3 days." I heard the twins say.
"She good, we checked on her a few hours ago." Naomi said giggling.
"Can y'all stop talking about me and get me a plate or something... like dang" I said turning over on the bed to face them.
"Aww my baby up, I missed you. We was starting to get worried." Naomi said jumping on top of me.
"I'm cool, I just had a couple of things on my mind and needed to rest." Essence said sitting up.
"Like what?" King let up.
"You so nosy." Naomi said rolling here eyes.
"Well, Andre's daughter showed up over here the day of grandma's party. And other shit I'm not ready to speak on." I said looking over at the twins.
They had already began to walk away, Lamar and King did not want to hear anything that had to do with Andre.
"Girl are you serious?!" Naomi asked in shock.
"Yeah, she didn't even know I existed. That deadbeat tried to hide his past and her lil friend had the audacity to ask me why I was so mad. She was shouting and shit, like miss ma'am, you don't know me" I said going on a rant.
"Heck nah she must be white." Nomi said shaking her head.
"What's her name?" She went on taking out her phone.
"The white girl? Tammy or something." I said closing the door.
"No, Andre's daughter." Naomi said.
"Oooh... her name is Skye. Now that I think about it, I kind of overdid it." I said watching Naomi switch to FBI mode.
"What do you mean by 'overdid it'" Nomi asked typing her name in Instagram.
"Um, well, I straight up told her I didn't care if she came to see me. And I maybe said we're not sisters. I kind of feel bad, she seemed like a sweetheart." I said solemnly.
"Girl, why you do that poor girl like that? She didn't know what happened between your mom and Andre. Oop- girl you have a brother, he kinda fine tho, his name is Darius." She said getting distracted.
"Girl, shut up. I know it was wrong, I'm starting to regret what I said. I think it was just transferred anger. Between me telling East about my miscarriage, Andre and his trifling ways. And those little side comments from that white girl, I was just all around angry." I counted on her fingers.
