Ray and I run after Taylor, me starting to sprint to catch up with her.

I'm pretty good at running long distances, which is why this isn't hard for me.

"Hey! Don't leave me behind!" I hear Ray yell.

"Taylor, slow down" I tell my blond best friend, now running next to her.

"Ray's dying back there"

She laughs, and we slow down to wait for Ray.

Soon we stop in front of a building, brightly lit.

That means, it had to have electricity.

As we walk through the entrance, I see a blue laser appear around the three of us, then turning red as we step through it.

What does that mean?

It's pretty weird.

But considering that Shibuya was empty in the matter of a few seconds, I don't know what to expect.

As we walk through the entrance, I immediately spot a table with phones.

A sign was on the table too.

One per person

I nudge my two best friends and point at the phones.

Slowly walking over, we each take one, and I get a bit startled when it scans my face.

That means... it has face recognition.

What the heck, that phone doesn't even belong to me...?

Then a robotic voice from our phones announces something:

"Please wait for the game to commence"

"Five minutes until registration closes"

"There are currently five participants"

"Game? What game?" I hear Ray ask again.

I shrug, looking around the room.

There's a girl with long, brown hair and a guy with short, black hair.

For the first time since everyone disappeared, I saw other people.

I start feeling glad, to see them.

That means the three of us aren't totally alone.

Maybe they know more than we do.

"Is this your first time here?" The girl asks, obviously responding to Ray's question.

She looks like she was about 17, so still a high school student.

"Yes, we arrived here like two hours ago" I state as another woman, who looks like she was in her late 30s, walks into the room.

"Well, I can try to explain this to you. These games, are games of life and death." The high school girl says.

"Life and death?" Tay asks, looking scared.

"Yeah, so you are playing games, trying to win. From winning these games, you earn Visa days. If your Visa expires, a laser will kill you. I guess that's all you should know... Oh, no wait! There are four types of-"

"Welcome Players"

"The game will now commence"

"There are six participants"

"Difficulty: Six of clubs"

"Game: Escape the room"

"Rule: Find all the clues to escape the room before it will catch on fire. You have 2 hours, please take the elevator to the second floor, where the escape room will be."
