Gloria wakes up abruptly the next morning when her face hits the floor. Whining, she slowly sits up and rubs her nose while taking in her surroundings. Her memories of the night prior were blurry, but she had a basic knowledge of what they had done, and where she was.
Using the bed for support, the Champion rises to her feet only to have a throbbing pain in her head, and in her legs hit her all at once. Whether the pain in her head were from her actions the previous night, or from her collision with the ground this morning, she was unsure.
The trembling of her legs was likely from spending the night on not the most supportive of shoes, combined with the intense conclusion to the evening. Gloria blushes just remembering what had taken place as she struggles to find her bag. Her vision a bit streaky while she fumbles around the room searching for her phone.
After tripping over somebodies dress from the night before, Gloria reintroduces herself to the floor, this time waking the other two women up with the ensuing THUD.
"Wha..what happened?" Marnie shoots up and asks, looking around the room, but not seeing the faceplanted Gloria at the foot of the bed.
"What was that noise?" Bea hisses, putting a hand to her forehead as she struggles into an upright position. "Where's Gloria,"
"Down here," they hear a mumble, and notice her hand pop up at the end of the bed. Shortly after she comes up and rests her chin on the bed. "Sorry, I tripped on a dress and fell,"
"You are such a klutz," Marnie teases, and gets out of bed, met by that wobbly feeling, but manages to adjust to it quickly. "Guess we've made you so gay you can't even walk straight,"
The other two women groan at her joke as Bea, takes her time trying to stand. "Why is it you are the one that makes the bad jokes. Aren't you supposed to be all serious and goth,"
"Ok, first of all, being goth does not mean I can't crack jokes," Marnie states and sticks her tongue out at the hungover Bea. "But Piers, before he started drugging out, used to tell me bad jokes just to cheer me up. I think he probably used to do it to make up for Mom and Dad being gone,"
Gloria shakily gets to her feet and shakes her head. "I am definitely not in any state of mind to be helping with depression stuff," she makes her way over to Marnie and hugs her. "Still, I do know that your silly jokes are part of what make your my adorable goth girl,"
Marnie blushes at the comment and helps the still unsteady Gloria to the shower, before coming back out and cleaning up the mess of clothes from the night before. Luckily for them, they all have the clothes they changed out of yesterday to wear, even if they were a bit dirty.
"This is why I don't drink so much," Bea whines as she hobbles out of bed. "The consequences far outweigh the benefits,"
"You don't remember last night all that well if you think the consequences aren't worth it. I'd suffer through the biggest down I've ever had to get a replica of last night," Marnie chuckles and lays out the clothes on the bed.
"What you think we had to be drunk to do what we did together last night?" Bea asks while trudging over to the wall to use it as support.
"Some of the things we did last night, likely would not have been done if Gloria were sober, and definitely not if you were,"
"Then maybe it's a good thing my memory is a little blurry,"
"Maybe, because I would never have guessed how kinky you really were," Marnie teases causing Bea to go brick red as she begins racking her brain for what it is she had done the previous evening.
