Gloria wakes up the next morning, shocked to see Bea still laying there next to her. Lazily, she pulls out her phone and checks the time, and coming to the realization she has been asleep for about twelve hours. Feeling guilty for having slept so much, Gloria gets up and stretches then heads to the shower.
Bea wakes up to the sound of the shower. "Guess Gloria got up early," Bea yawns, a bit sore. Reaching over, she grabs her phone and her eyes shoot wide open. "Holy crap!" she yells and jumps out of the bed and starts to get dressed.
With speed she runs to Allister's room, and basically drags him out of bed so that he can get ready.
"Ghostie, get up, get ready. I slept in and it is already just about time for you to go," Bea says, almost yelling as Allister sluggishly gets ready for school.
Bea then bolts downstairs to get a healthy portable meal ready for her brother, while also trying to run in place so as to get in some of the exercise she missed that morning.
Allister trudges his way downstairs with his book bag in hand, and puts away all of his homework. Bea then hands him some scrambled eggs and sausage wrapped up in a crepe, kisses his forehead and sends him on his way.
Shortly after Gloria comes down, fully dressed, though her hair still wet, and her skin still glistening a bit from the water.
"You didn't think to wake me up?" Bea asks, though her eyes are too busy eating Gloria up to stay focused.
"You looked exhausted, plus I knew you stayed up to clean the mess I made after you took care of me...." Gloria trails off for a bit and brings her hand up to her arm. "I felt bad enough as it is, I didn't want to wake you up and make it harder,"
Bea sighs and shakes her head. "I suppose it doesn't matter now. Anyway, I am going to shower, get dressed, then we will rebandage you before going off to Wyndon,"
"Ok," Gloria states, and makes herself breakfast while Bea gets showered. Once the two are all ready to go, they call themselves a taxi and go flying off to the biggest city in Galar.
Naturally, as soon as they arrive outside of what is now the Battle Tower, the press swarms them. Not wanting to get caught up in this, Bea takes Gloria's arm, because taking her hand would cause too much commotion, and pulls her into the building.
Once inside they are instantly greeted by Leon who has a smile on his face. "Been awhile since you've bothered to come around here Champion," he says and leads them off to a private elevator blocking them off from the prying eyes of the press.
"I assume you are here to discuss that plan you brought up in the press yesterday," he smirks and Gloria just nods. "I thought as much, that is why I took the liberty of inviting all the gym leaders here. I figured you'd have Bea already, so I didn't send it out to her though,"
"Good guess," Bea chuckles as they reach the conference floor, which is floor 67 of the building.
"I did expect you to have Allister with you as well though," he admits with a sigh.
"Yeah, well he has school," Bea states as they walk between rooms where other conferences are going on.
"I always forget he is still in school," Leon chuckles, scratching his head a bit.
"You heard what I said to Rose yesterday," Gloria states immediately afterwards, not even bothering to make it a question. There is a bit of a shift in the atmosphere after it is said.
"Yes," Leon responds with a sigh. "We shall discuss that after our meeting today," Gloria just nods as they step into the largest of the available conference rooms. Bea and Gloria both take a seat, the Champion at one of the heads of the table, and the fighting type trainer the fourth seat down on the left.
