Groggily rubbing his eyes, Gerard woke up to the sound of Mikey blasting Iron Maiden whilst playing along on bass, the bass thumping throughout the house. He looked over at his digital clock, seeing it was midday.

He sat up, deciding he needed coffee before doing anymore thinking.

Gerard walked into the kitchen, swaying a little to the bass while making his coffee. It was then that he realised he had a lot to do before Frank sees him, and he should probably shower, and he's definitely gonna end up annoying Mikey with his inability to choose clothes.

"Yeah but how am I meant to choose if I don't know where he's taking me?" Gerard said in an exasperated tone.

"Wait, you don't know where he's taking you?" Mikey responded.

"Uh, no, not really."

Mikey sighed. "It really never occurred to you that you should ask?"

"I don't know Mikes, it was just like in the moment or something."

"Okay just wear something a little casual, bit more on the punk side, uh, maybe eyeliner or something?"

"Right, yeah, I can do that." Mikey then left, leaving Gerard to get ready.

He picked out his clothes, then adjusting his relatively cheap black jean jacket and bat belt buckle, pulling his eye down a little to messily apply his eyeliner.

Gerard steps out of his room. "Okay, what do you think?"

"Pretty good." Mikey says, walking over to his brother and messing around his hair a bit whilst grinning.

"Thanks, probably looks like shit now." Gerard chuckled lightheartedly.

There was a knock on the door at precisely 5:30. Though, Frank was gonna pretend he didn't stand outside the door waiting for three minutes so he could knock on time, and Gerard was gonna pretend he didn't see Frank waiting outside the door for three minutes.

Gerard practically ran to the door, heartbeat racing. He opened the door to be faced with a smiling Frank, dark eyeliner and a little red eyeshadow smudged around his eyes, which he had to dig through his mom's makeup to find, just for Gerard. He was carrying his worn out skateboard, wearing a large leather jacket with patches he sewed on messily himself.

Gerard internally died at the sight, he wasn't going to be able to get used to Frank with makeup.

Frank, on the other hand, was not so subtly checking Gerard out, still a little stunned from the way Gerard was looking at him.

"Hi." Frank said slightly breathlessly.

"Hey." Gerard replied, awkward but face still covered with a small grin.

"We're gonna walk there if that's okay with you."

"Yeah, it's no problem." Gerard stepped out of the house and closed the door behind him, but not before shouting to Mikey that he was leaving.

They began to stroll, Gerard following Franks lead.
"Where are we going exactly?" Gerard questioned.

"Wouldn't be a surprise if I told you," Frank said with a smirk, "I think it'll be fun though."

Gerard nodded and left it at that.

They didn't walk much longer until they were in front of an empty skatepark, the beginning of a sunset turning the sky a nice light pink. Frank figured it would be better around this time since there's no one around.
