Part 22 right thing to do

JUGHEADS pov

when I was about to get into bed I heard a knock on the door of our room and it was my dad

FP-hey jug

he said lightly so that betty doesn't wake up

FP- can you please come downstairs

then I went downstairs and saw alice and my dad sitting on couch

J- dad what is it

FP- jug please sit down

A- we want your help with something jughead

J-help with what

A- for betty

A- after what happened tonight with archie we dont want betty to face him again

J- and how does it involves me

A- I know initially betty said that she will think about filing a report against archie and we dont know if she have thought about it

A- so we were hoping if you could ask her or talk about this to her

J- listen alice I love betty so much and I care for her more than any one else and I also dont want her to face archie again but I am not gonna pressurize her for something

J- I respect her and respect her choices its her choice but if anyone of us will pressurize her her it will only be worse for her and it will only hurt her more

MEANWHILE IN BETTYS ROOM

BETTYS pov

I turned around to see if jug have come from bathroom or not but his side of bed was empty so I got up and went downstairs but then I heard some noises when I was standing on stairs it was my mom jug and fp

J- listen alice I love betty so much and I care for her more than any one else and I also dont want her to face archie again but I m not gonna pressurize her for something

J- I respect her and I respect her choices its her choice but if anyone will pressurize her it will only be worse for her and it will only hurt her more

then I heard him stood up and started walking back towards stairs , so I ran back towards our room and slipped under covers before jug came back

JUGHEADS pov

after talking to alice and my dad when I was about to walk back into our room I felt movement in stairs oh no what if betty is awake

then I went back into our room and saw her lying on bed under covers and went next to her and cuddled with her , her eyes werew closed but I knew she was still awake

J- betts I know you are still awake

then she turned and faced me

B- ok may be I am

B- before you say anything else let me tell you something

B- I sorta of heard you talking with my mom I didn't wanted but I just went downstairs to find you

J- its ok , but I meant what I said

J- I would never ever want to pressurize you for doing anything that you dont want to do

B- I know , I know and that is why I love you so much , thank you so much for always respecting my decisions

J- I love you too

J- now lets sleep you are really tired from what everything that have happened

then we both fell asleep
