Chapter 12

Imane's POV

I sit down at my computer and open up OBS. I hit the record button, "Hello everyone so I am taking a week off from streaming because in the new OTV video that hasn't been uploaded I got a concussion" I explain, "I don't blame the person that gave me it I know it was an accident, but I'm taking a week away from streaming to heal up and the good news is that it's not a major concussion, But I will see you guys in a week" I say as I hit the stop recording button. I upload the video and stand up and walk out of the room. I walk to the living room and see Rae sitting on the couch. I flop down next to her.

"Imane, how do you feel?" she asks.

"I feel fine surprisingly" I say.

"Are you mad at Jared?" she asks

"NO honestly I'm impressed" I say, "he hit my head" I say.

"Yeah that is pretty impressive" she says. We sat there for a while just talking for a while. Eventually she has to go and stream so I just decide to try and read a book. As I grab it my phone buzzes. I look at it and from a number I recognize it's just not saved to my phone.

"Sorry"

"Jared for the last time it's fine" I reply.

"How can I make it up to you?" he asks in the text.

"Get me a coffee" I reply.

"Fuckin coffee, I can do you one better" he replies.

"Um okay".

"Once you get better I'll do it, When do you think you'll be better?"

"Probably Next Friday" I tell him.

"Okay see you then" I set my phone down and I start to read. I lay back on couch, Mimi walks over to me and claws at the couch. I grab her and pull her over to me. To my surprise she doesn't attack me when I set her on the couch, she just lays down next to me. I hold the book up with one hand and the other I was using to pet Mimi. Janet walks out of her room very tired. It is only 9 so it does make sense.

"Hey Imane" she says.

"Mornin' Janet" I say as Mimi stands up and walks over to Janet. I continue to read my book in peace. I look over to Janet she had Mimi in her hands. I put the bookmark in the book and  set in a side. I stand up and walk over to them.

Jared's POV

I set my phone down on my desk. I turn my PC on and pull up my Youtube. I click on customize channel I decided to change my channel name. From JGaming to Jared_Gaming. I know it's not that big of a change but I get annoyed that people call me JGaming. I then start the stream, "He-hello are we live?" I ask the chat they start to mostly yes but also that Im muted, "Guys if I were muted people wouldn't be saying yes, Anyways we are learning how to play Jett again, Also I changed my name" I say as I continue to talk to chat. Eventually I open up Valorant. I start the queue for  the first game. I get in a game, I finally get in a game.

"Anyone else have a mic" I girl asks.

"Yeah I got one" I say.

"I do" another girl says. I pick Jett as the others pick theirs.

"HOLY your JGaming" A boy says as he picks Viper.

"Um well it's Jared Underscore Gaming now" I say, "But I'm going to be shit I have no clue how to play Jett correctly", We star t the game on Icebox, We play a few round we win a few rounds we lose a few. It's the final round before the swap. I buy  an Operator.

"You guys want to go all Op's" someone asks.

"Im down" someone says.

"This isn't going to go well for me" I say to my chat as the round starts. I scope in and Omen walks around the corner I headshot him. I use my cloud (Smoke IDK) on the corner I run to B I see Phoenix standing behind a wall I headshot him and then someone sprays at me I use my updraft. I fly in the air I use my ultimate and accidentally hit my right mouse button and kill their Jett. Then I see Brimstone turn the corner and start to shoot me. I dash to the left and go into the air. I pull out my Op and shot. I somehow hit brimstone. I land on the ground, "LETS FUCKING GO" I yell standing up. Then I get shot from behind. Their Viper kills me. Play a couple of more games to I'm at least playable with Jett. 

"Okay everyone, I think I'm going to end the stream here. Um I will see you guys later. Imane I hope you get better" I say as I end the stream. I grab my phone and walk out of the room. I go into the kitchen when my phone rings. I look over and see my sister was calling I answer.

"Hey Jared" she says.

"Hey Tess what's up?" I ask.

"Um the parents are going on a Vacation and they don't want me to come with" she says.

"Ah one of those vacations" I say.

"I have no clue what you are talking about" she says.

"Okay so I'm guessing you want to stay at my place" I say.

"Yeah" she says.

"Why can't you stay at there house?" I ask.

"Because I'm 13" she says.

"Um sure I guess I can buy you a plane ticket" I say.

"Can you not drive to me?" she asks.

"No for a couple of reasons, 1 I live in LA 2 you live in Covington Louisiana and 3 is I have to work".

"Oh you mean youtubeing" she says.

"Yes" I say.

"Ugh fine" she says hanging up. Sam was sitting on the couch scrolling through Netflix looking for something to watch.

"Hey do you remember Tess?" I ask.

"Your sister?" she asks.

"Yeah the one that is 12 years younger than you" she says.

"Yeah she is coming over for about 2 weeks"

"Why?"

"My parents are going on a vacation"

"Ah that type of vacation" she says, "How old are your parents?" she asks.

"41, So what are you watching" I ask sitting down.

"I have no clue" she says, "Got any recommendations?" she asks looking over at me.
