Chapter 24

Jared's POV

It has been some time since the party. Just over 3 months I haven't really had much contact with Imane, we played It Takes Two so no one would think anything is wrong. However, besides that we have not done anything. Haven't played a game or even talked, "I just feel like I'm a teenager again, like hiding my feelings" I tell Thomas through the phone.

"Jared, honestly I think you and her should at least try, I mean I'm not the best with women, but you guys are different people from back then" he says.

"Yeah, I guess that's true" I say we talk for a few more minutes before we end the call. I walk out of my room and it's very quiet. Sam and I aren't in the best place right now and Tess had finally gone back home in late March. I was making some lunch which was just eggs. As it has been for the past 2 weeks. I really haven't wanted to go shopping. I quickly eat then sit down at my computer. I check my business Email and I have a new one. From Twitch.

"Jared Gaming,

We have been paying attention to all you have been doing on Youtube. You are constantly Streaming on Youtube averaging over 40 thousand viewers per stream. Now us here at Twitch understand that you may be only interested in streaming on youtube. However, we would love to have you exclusively on Twitch. If you are interested, we have attached a contract below" it says. I click on the document and read through it. It says that If I were to sign this contract, I will be given one more stream on Youtube to wrap that up. On Twitch I would have to stream 4 times a week unless there is a major event in my life and that it is a two-year contract where I will be given 100 grand every year with this contract. I call everyone for their opinion, most people said yes. I called everyone except for one. I look down at my phone and click on the contact. I consider for a while before closing my contacts and going back to the contract. I print it, sign it scan it then send it back to Twitch. I open up youtube check for anything then go live.

"Today is a special day because we will finally finish Welcome to the game 2" I say, "So what if I have had 3 years to finish it, if I don't finish it today then I will be dying my hair" I say.

"We have 8 hours today so let's get into it" I say. The next 8 hours were torture, and I came so close multiple times but ultimately, I failed. I gave it one more try and got all the keys but one then I die, "FUCK THIS FUCKING GAME I'M DONE" I say alt f4ing the game.

"Guess I'm dying my hair" I say to my stream before I end it. I walk into the bathroom. I look at the mirror. I grab my shaving cream and start to shave off my facial hair. For the first time since I was 19 I was clean shaven. I mean having a different hair color and then having blond facial hair. I pull out my phone and book an appointment for them to dye my hair.

Imane's POV

I walk into the house holding Some groceries. Rae follows in with more, "This is why we only go grocery shopping once a month" I tell Rae sitting the bags on the counter.

"Really spending $500 on food isn't normal" she says sarcastically, I roll my eyes and start to put the food we got up when my phone dings.

"Imane, we need you for an OTV shoot" Lily's text read. I finish putting the food away then rush over to the house

"Hey Toast" I say to him

"Hey" he responds. I help them set up a camera at the entrance then set up an arrow pointing to the left. Then another until we put one pointing to a door. I open it and Michael is setting up a desk, Scarra was putting two chairs and Brodin was setting up a security Camera and Toast was looking at a laptop until what was showing on the camera popped up, "Okay its good" he says.

"Imane come here" Lily says walking into another room, "I need help setting up this" she says motioning to a tripod. I help her set it up and point it towards the couch. Michael walks in holding the laptop that Toast was holding then put it up on the TV directly away from the couch.

"What are we doing?" I ask

"Something" Michael says walking back into the other room.

"I think it's all set up" Scarra says, "Just need to do the lights".

"DONE!!!" Brodin screams from the other room.

"Then we are all ready" Michael says patting Scarra on the back and sitting down. Lily pulls out her phone as Scarra and her sit down. Lily leans on Michael still typing. Brodin and Yvonnie sit down as well. I sit down in the middle; Lily gets off her phone and we sit there for a while.

"Where is Toast?" I ask.

"Somewhere" Michael says.

"You all know what this video is why can't I know?" I ask.

"Because" Brodin says. I roll my eyes as the door opens on the TV and Jared walks in.

I sat there staring at the hot tub. God I can't believe that I'm now 25. I'm tapped on the shoulder I look over, Lily and Yvonnie were standing there in the bikini shirts. We start the stream, - It goes the exact same as Real life for the first half –

Jared walks In and sits down in the chair that I was sitting down earlier. I notice him but don't really do anything. Everyone else seems to notice him but no one does a thing. Well almost no one, Lily looks over at me, "So Poki what about you and Jared" she says leaning in.

"Yeah, what about him and you?" Michael also asks with a smirk.

"What about us?" I ask.

"You guys played games constantly in January and early February then nothing except for It Takes Two" Yvonnie adds into the conversation

"We are just busy people we are doing other things and yeah" I say.

"That boring we want to know about you two and your guy's personal lives" Michael says.

"Not this again" I say to myself.

"Relax we're just missing with you" Michael says.

"Well, you are" Lily says leaning back.

Jared's POV

I walk back into my place, once again silence, I sit down excepting to be asked something but once again nothing.

Imane, someone who I loved once and never thought I would be given the chance to again. I've been given a second chance, I mean it's not like one of us cheated, she was jealous of some shit. I mean she's pretty, nice, and I'm fairly sure is into me.

I stand up from my couch grab my keys and start the 10-minute drive. I get there and with it being nearly 1 AM I'm not excepting her to be awake. I walk up to the door and knock. To my surprise I hear some movement and Imane opens the door, "Jared?" she asks. I look behind her and I see no one.

"Hey" I say.

"Why are you here it's 1" she says.

"Imane I'm tired of denying my feeling" I say to her, "Imane I want to be with you" I say she smiles then brings me in for a kiss. She pulls me into the house, and she shuts the door.
