HEY... Been a while, I dont want to get into it but something thing happened in my life and I just took a break from the internet for a few months.
Jared's POV
I Sat there on the bed looking through my phone as Imane storms in. I don't look up from twitter but I can see from the corner of my eye that she is just staring at me. I sigh as I slowly put my phone down, and glance up at her, "Can I help you?" I ask her.
"No" she says. I shrug and just walk out of the room. I can tell she seems pissed, at something, or someone. So instead of getting in that stuff, I'm just going to walk, "Very well" I state as I grab my headphones.
"Where the hell are you going?" she asks.
"Nowhere" I tell her as I open the door and just leave her. I leave the apartment building and just walk. Just thinking about what had happened over the past few months. The problem is that not much had happened. I love Imane, but not much has happened since we've been together. My life has been great, but just run of the mill. Don't get me wrong I have a nice life, I have no debt anymore, I was able to pay off my credit cards and all that. I've just been streaming and doing my job to entertain someone. I mean Imane has given EXTREMELY SUBTLE HINTS about her wanting to get engaged soon. By subtle hints I mean her viewers clip her talking about marriage and sending it to me. I sit down next to an old guy on a bench.
"How has your day been?" He asks me. I pause my music and take my headphones off.
"It's been something" I tell him.
"How so" he asks me. I sigh as I look at him.
"You really want to know?" I ask, he nods, "Well, my girlfriend, We've been dating for a while and she wants to get engaged and hell I even bought a ring but..." I trail off.
"Listen this girl of yours" he says, "Do you love her?" I ask her.
"Yeah".
"Do you see a future with her?".
"Yeah".
"Let me ask you something youngblood" he says, "How old are you?".
"26".
"and her".
"25".
"listen, let me give you my advise, it might not be the best but it is mine" he says, "Don't wait to long, life isn't forever, no need to wait if you want her, then marry her".
"Okay" I say standing up.
Imane's POV
I sat on the couch scrolling through twitter, Not even really paying attention to what I was reading or responding too. I scrolled aimlessly through it, I sigh as I set the phone down and somehow end up turning on the TV and looking through Netflix, I finally land on a show that Jared had recommended, You. I start the show as Jared walks back in. I pause it as he walks in. He sits down next to me. He huffs as he lays his head on my lap, "Hello sexy" he says with his eyes barely open.
"Hello handsome" I reply.
"How has your day been?" he asks me as he starts to fall asleep.
"fine" I say to him, "don't forget were hanging with everyone later" I tell him.
"That's later" he says.
"Lets get ready
"No" he says shooting up, "Stay with me" Jared says. I groan as I attempted to get up, but he gives me puppy dog eyes.
"I hate you" I tell him as I lay down on the couch with him.
"My baby" he mumbles to himself. We laid there for three hours. Not saying much, just being with each other. I'm ninety percent sure that Jared fell asleep, but I didn't want to move. I just wanted to be in his company. Eventually, we have to get ready, so I slip out of his arms and wake him up. We take a shower, brush our teeth, and I do my makeup. We leave our place and start to drive to the OTV house.
Jared's POV
We walk into the house and start getting everything ready for them. The fire was already set up on the patio. I helped Michael and Toast with setting up the chairs. The Three of us sit down around the fire, "How's life?" Toast asks. I shrug at him.
"That bad?" asks Michael, "Is the sex that bad"?" I smile at him.
"Yeah, it's terrible" I joke
"Tell John and Jodi to hurry up" I tell them. As soon as I say that they pull in.
"Fucking finally" Michael says looking over the railing. After a few minutes Jodi and John get up with us.
"What are we doing" I ask them. They all shrug at me as Michael hands me a beer. We all talk for a while. Somehow, we ended up playing truth or dare for fun. I end up chugging two beers, and kiss John, and posted it to Twitter. Soon we end up playing poker with only Lily not wanting to play,
"Mine money" Toast says.
"Okay how about one more" Michael says. We all agree, We get all handed cards and have to go all in before looking at our cards. I glance at my cards, two kings. We flip over the first three cards. An Ace of Spades, A king of hearts and a queen of diamonds. We burn a card and flip the next over, an eight of hearts and finally burn the last one and flip one more over, a two of clubs. One by one they all fold until its down to me and Michael. We reveal our cards at the same time and he has, pocket aces.
"That's such bullshit" I call out before he takes all the money.
"I am now like 70 dollars richer" he says. We talk for a few more hours. Before we all decide its time to get going. I help everyone with getting it all put away, I walk back outside to where Imane was. She was leaning on the railing looking at the sky.
"You ever realize how pretty the night sky is" she asks me. I nod as I grab her hand. I turn her towards me.
"Imane, you know I love you right?" I ask her, she slowly nods, "I love you so much, and I recently had a talk with some dude I don't even know but he put some things in perspective".
"Should I be scared?" she asks me.
"Not at all" I stated as I got down on one knee, "Imane Anys will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
